Anchor pumps offer competitive good…
Anchor pumps offer competitive good service. Unfortunately their delivery company let's them down. I paid £35 for next day delivery, which didn't turn up. My additional costs for the plumber, waiting to fit the pump which didn't arrive, removed any benefits from purchasing from Anchor.

Good afternoon
I am sorry to ready your review today. Having looked into this i see that DPD do show an attempt all being not at the actual property but at a nearby location and then requested more information to assist with the delivery in which What3words code was provided upon they then made a successful delivery the following day. I will ensure that your Saturday carriage charge is refunded to a standard next day delivery charge for you as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately we dont recommend having a plumber waiting on goods being delivered by any courier as they can often encounter problems enroute either traffic issues, failure to locate the premises, customer out when they arrive, problems with the delivering vehicles themselves all are problems which can arise. Saying this we have more successful deliveries than failed deliveries considering how many parcels we send out. The other issue is that the goods could arrive damaged therefore we would need time to rectify this situation if this was to happen which we are happy to rectify but all takes time.
We would like to apologise once again for these unforeseen circumstances .

I had to return a faulty pump and Kerry at Anchor could not have been more helpful. Once I had returned the pump, and Anchor had confirmed it was faulty, a replacement was issued within 48 hours. How a company deals with returns often tells you all you need to know.

The initial ETA showed only 2-3 days delivery from order to yourself, but that is obviously not the case. Unfortunately, we are not always informed by the manufacturer if there is a delay or a delivery issue, so I have contacted the manufacturer and I am waiting on a response as to where your item is. I can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by this delay and endeavour to provide you an ETA as soon as possible.
