Written by the company

Crash Baggage is an Italian brand of bags and accessories who firmly believes in travel as a moment of pleasure seeking and routine breaking, to be lived in complete freedom. The company was founded in Venice – Italy in 2013 and designs suitcases, bags and accessories with a characteristic dented shell. Crash Baggage exists to inspire a new way of facing life and travel: “without care,” embracing the unexpected as precious moments that define us. We create pre-dented suitcases that not only represent our philosophy but live it, offering those who choose them a symbol of freedom and resilience. The only true suitcase is the one that’s dented, carrying with it the marks of past experiences and stories waiting to be told.

Broken During the First Airport Security Check

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of this suitcase and the customer service.

I purchased a brand-new Crash Bagg suitcase because I believed I was investing in a premium product. Unfortunately, it was damaged during its very first journey. My 13-year-old daughter was travelling alone to an international dance competition, and after the very first airport security screening she collected the suitcase with a broken handle. The suitcase had not been dropped, hit, or misused before that.

What disappointed me even more was the company’s response. Without inspecting the suitcase in person, they concluded from photos alone that the damage must have been caused by an external impact and refused any warranty support.

A suitcase costing this much should be able to withstand normal airport security procedures and standard baggage handling. If it cannot survive its very first trip, I seriously question the quality of the product.

I expected much more from a premium brand, both in terms of durability and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing, and I cannot recommend Crash Bagg based on how this case was handled.

Crash for life

It's been now 12 years that I use Crash Baggage. I recently got the Skin Pink Trunk and I love it, my girls love it and it's always fun to travel with Crash cause everyone gives you a funny look.
The quality is great, and my very very old one they just changed my wheels for just 40€ making it practically new again.

Cool products that actually feel yours

Bought an Icon Cabin together with the green Iconic backpack and honestly I’m super happy with both.

The suitcase is sturdy, practical and has that design that instantly stands out without trying too hard. The backpack was probably my favorite surprise though. I love that you can put stickers on it and slowly make it feel more personal over time. It gives the product a more real and lived-in vibe compared to most travel brands.

Everything from shipping to packaging felt smooth and well thought out. You can tell Crash Baggage really cares about both design and the overall experience, not just the product itself.
