This store have worst customer services ladies team.they litterly wana.kill you in.anger.gave us wrong cake.also mocked us .that you can.complain about us who cares.o.gosh.that pathetic behaviour. And cake.box is fraud.as provided all.evidences as what we got mean wrong cake.they still came.up with jus sorry and not given our money back for that smelly,date expired cake.stay away from.them.and that indian team in wilmslow road .reported to.food cosumer authorities.

Lovely-looking cake, but very disappointing quality. The excessive red food colouring stained the children's mouths, faces and our hands. Even after washing more than 10 times, the stains wouldn't come off. It was embarrassing in front of all the parents at my child's birthday party. Customer service simply said the colouring was edible and hasn't followed up with a proper resolution. Very disappointing experience. I wouldn't order again.

The cake was horrible in terms of the taste and the use of colours. It was for my son who turned 3 and I could not even offer him the cake as the colour was so bad it made everyone’s lips blue. I threw the entire cake in the bin. I will ask all my friends and family never to order from cake box as it is hazardous to have such cakes. Spoilt our entire party and the mood of my 3 year old.

delivery need improvement!

I have been a regular customer of Cake Box and have always enjoyed ordering cakes from them. However, I was very disappointed with my recent experience.

I ordered a birthday cake that was advertised on the website as a heart-shaped cake with black bows. When I went to collect my order, the staff member informed me that black bows were not available and asked me to choose either blue or red instead.

This was very disappointing because I had planned the entire birthday decoration around a black theme. Being told about this at the last minute was really frustrating, especially for such a special occasion.

I would kindly suggest that Cake Box inform customers in advance if any decorations or items are unavailable, rather than waiting until they arrive to collect their orders. This would help avoid disappointment and give customers enough time to make alternative arrangements.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your communication with customers in the future.

The ordering process was smooth as well as the cake it was value for money.everyone in the family liked it.

Staff was very welcoming. She was very polite. Shop in Clapton.

Ordering on line on Cake Box was simple and easy.
Unfortunately, our planned changed and could not collect the cake on the day we were supposed to collect.
I contacted the store and the assistant was very polite and agree to collect it next week.
Excellent service would recommend Cake Box to others.

Placed 2 click and collect orders and they were ready on time. Cakes are always lovely and well presented.

Unfortunately the Upminster cake box team gave my cake to another person. The lady didn’t check and assumed the person collecting was the right person. Surely you would check the details before giving the cake away.

Having said that I was able to get another cake on the day, even though it wasn’t what I ordered.

Really great! I ordered cheesecake twice and was blown away by the taste & quality of service. Have tested collection and delivery and both been really straight forward.
