Appalling service
Appalling service. Booked for assistance, due to passenger in wheelchair, followed all instructions and got simple neglect. Car tagged with assistance labe, proceeded to board with hazard lights flashing as written boarding instructions, car ushered into non liability section. Impossible to load passenger into wheelchair and no where near a lift, Had to support and carry them after man-handling wheelchair seperately. Given 2 xouchette seats distant from each other. Disabled couchettes allocated to others with no disabilities. Staff could not care less. Complained and was told lounge was fully booked. All preboarding information given total waste of time. Disabled toilets were locked on various levels, gymnastics to get one opened. On arrival despite requests and promises of or assistance, and recall to staff members none arrived. Same scenario to get passenger back to car, after waiting 1/2 to access a lift. Absolutely NEVER again. If I could give zero I would. Dont pretend you offer a service when you clearly dont. And for the record I speak perfect French so does person requiring assistance, so that's not an excuse.
I’ve traveled with Corsica Ferries…
I’ve traveled with Corsica Ferries several times from Alcudia to Toulon and back. I only travel with them as there is no other choice on this route. The reception staff are beyond rude. Utterly incompetent and unprofessional. Not interested in assisting at all. They treat you like an annoyance rather than a customer. Customer care skills are below any standard I came across. It really ruins the overall experience. They are desperately letting the company down and in urgent need of training. I’m sure that as soon as a competitor turns up on this route, they will loose business rapidly.
Very unfriendly personnel
Last year 2025
Very unfriendly personnel. I travelled with them twice now and had exactly the same experience. Staff everywhere, behind a bar, in the restaurant etc are simply unpleasant to approach. Their communication is very abrupt and not helpful. I wish there was a competitor in the area so people can choose and not put up with this.
Update 2026:
Traveling from Toulon to Mallorca. Credit where it’s due: bar and restaurant staff have raised their standards and are now much more welcoming. Sadly, reception continues to let the company down. The staff there are utterly dismissive, impatient, and plain rude. It’s clear they either lack proper customer care training or simply don't care. Very disappointing experience once again.

I estimate there were over 100 dogs on the ship. lots of barking at each other. Poo on decks. There should be advance warning in case of allergic to dogs.
Outdated cabins, bad value for money
Outdated, bad value for money, ordinary staff does not speak English. Needs an overall upgrade to 2026.
Corsica ferries last minute cancellation!!
Booked to return to Sete from Ciutadella, Menorca, on tomorrow's 26th July ferry leaving at 7.00am. Cancelled late last night saying bad weather on one email and unforseen circumstances on another.
Their alternatives were to transfer to next Wednesday, money back or catch the same ferry that should have docked in Ciutadella in Alcudia in Majorca!!! So why is it not calling in at Ciutadella as scheduled and how are we supposed to get to Majorca?
Used Corsica ferries in past and always okay but this experience involving us in finding alternative ferry, cancelling hotels etc. is unacceptable.
I believe the true reason will be there were not many bookings to/from Menorca on this ferry!!
Relaxing stay, well organized disembark
Nice cabin with big window, good dinner, calm sail and very important - well organized, efficient disembark in very good time. Thanks!
Is ok
Price quality was ok, an old-fashioned interieur can be a good thing. But the wear of it is very noticeable. Could be cleaner, but for the price its ok.
Depature from Livorno was chaotic and the signages where unclear. Return from Bastia to Savona was better organised.

The booking the regular updates were all attentive and accurate. The security the line up were all politely managed. Cabin OK the steward again accurate and polite. The information point were extremely helpful. Food!! A special mention for Dolce Vita restaurant excellent and good value for quality and quantities. Bar service the only 6/10
Generally at a peak time a very good crossing Toulon Bastia 15th July.
I had a reservation the day before
I had a reservation the day before, but arrived at in the neck of time and lost the ferry the day before going from Piombino. Then, bought new ticket from Livorno. Any chance I can get a refund or maybe partial refund for my lost reservation? Regards,

Unforgettable experience, truly pet-friendly
The trip to Bastia and back to Livorno with Pascal Lota was an unforgettable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I traveled with my dog, and I would especially like to highlight that Corsica Ferries is truly pet-friendly.
A special thank you goes to the cabin attendants, who take great care of the cabins and greet you with a smile during both check-in and check-out. Their kindness and professionalism made the journey even more enjoyable.
An extremely poor ferry experience
Both our journeys with this ferry company to and from Corsica have convinced us that it is the worst of the many that we have ever experienced.
1. Major changes in schedule at very short notice with spurious explanation of poor weather (it was fine) when the real explanation was that they were combining two half empty ferries. This led to a 2am arrival.
2. Surly abrupt rude unfriendly uncommunicative staff with no customer service ethos. Staff training is a key priority if the company wants to stay in business.
3. After a long delay before the self service restaurant opened we were amongst the first in. However the ‘hot’ food was already lukewarm in parts and stone cold in others - poor quality and badly presented.
4. The exit system for foot passengers was overcrowded, inefficient and frankly dangerous, particularly for older less mobile passengers.
Good routing and timing for us
Good routing and timing for us. Pricing OK. Cabins are not what they are described, "luxus" is less than average to us who have travelled on the Baltic Sea.
Very satisfied about service
Very satisfied about service, friendly people, restaurant, price-quality, …
Cancelled, but refunded!
Booked a crossing from Italy -> Corsica, but the sailing was rescheduled for a time I could no longer make due to weather conditions. Rebooking or refund was offered. Had to reach out to commence refund but the process was rapid after that.
Personnel de bord excrecrable sauf…
Personnel de bord excrecrable sauf exception,on charge le bétail puis on le trait par la suite.
Bad business practices, very unreliable
Traveling to and from Corsica, both crossings were cancelled less than 24 hours before departure, and we received a notice to change our booking.
Each time, this made us scramble and rearrange our travel schedule. This also resulted in a much longer overall travel time for us, (different harbors than originally booked) and a lot of other inconveniences.
Since this happened for 2 out of 2 crossings, and there are a lot of similar reviews out there, it has to be systematic business practice by Corsica Ferries.
I would strongly recommend to avoid Corsica Ferries if possible. We travelled with Moby to Sardinia the year before and had no such issues.
Bad value for money.
It is not about what went wrong.
The personnel were nice.
But the so called “luxury “ cabins were as far from luxury as you could get. 500€ for a tiny grubby cabin. Not really clean with huge flood lights outside coming into the cabin and an empty soap container in the shower. The public toilets we’re disgusting.
Just do not call it a “luxury”, cabin because it is not.
