I’m extremely happy with Hyperlite
I’m extremely happy with the Hyperlite Hexagon Lights. Once you get a system going and figure out your layout, they’re easy to install. I suggest not trying to lift more than three hexagons up at a time unless you have multiple people and nothing to work around. The lights are super bright, and I would definitely recommend spending the extra money on the dimmable version. Being able to adjust the brightness in the morning is absolutely worth it.
They also look incredible with a black ceiling and really make the garage stand out. There are no shadows so it makes working on or detailing my cars a breeze.
One piece of advice: a laser level will be your best friend during installation. It makes getting everything straight and lined up so much easier.
If you need to work around garage doors, I found an easy solution using 3/8” tubing cut into 1-1/4” pieces. Awesome grab some 2 1/2 inch drywall screws.This gave me just enough spacing to clear the garage door brackets without having to modify the brackets themselves.
Overall, these lights completely transformed my garage. They’re bright, clean-looking, and well worth the money. I’d definitely recommend the dimmable Hyperlite system.
