We recently made an accidental damage claim to vanity ceramic top. To speed up the claim we managed to get a builder to quote the repair and submitted the quite to AAMI. AAMI wanted to get their own contractor out to quote the repair. AAMi com back with half the price of what the builder quoted but did no allow for any of the additional work that needed to be done like tile removal. AAMI said the tiles are not broken so that would be an additional quote if broken. With a month of emails and phone calls we did settle on the builder quote which allowed the full repair properly. It should not be a political affair to make a claim just repair it properly not the cheapest quote that needed more quoting to complete the job.
