Trademark Infringement - Fraud
For the past 12 months, we've trying to reach Leaf Cosmetics due to trademark infringement, with no response until now. For the last 12 months we have been receiving complaints from Leaf Cosmetics clients mentioning they did not received their orders and Leaf Cosmetics client support didn't responded.
We have gathered more than 50 clients who were scammed by this "brand", allegedly established in the state of Wyoming by the name Leaf Cosmetics LLC but, until now, and we even talked to the AG of Wyoming, this company doesn't exist. Their address is a virtual address like a PO Box, their phone number doesn't exist either. We sent several letters and emails with a Cease and Desist order and no response. We left several messages on Instagram, with no response either. We made several comments on their pictures, and they were deleted right away.
Since May, we reported this business to the FBI, local authorities, Wyoming AG, Shopify legal team and several authorities in Europe.
We really do hope get a contact from you legal team (you have our contacts) until the end of this week. Otherwise we will move this matter to the media in Europe and US as well move several lawsuits along all the clients we have gathered so far in the United States and Europe.
UPDATE (August 14, 2026):
Only today — after 12 full months of complete silence — did we finally receive a response from Leaf Cosmetics (sent by their marketing and partnerships department, not a legal team).
Although sent in an intimidating tone stating: "If there is genuine market confusion affecting both our customers, we are open to discussing a professional and amicable resolution. However, we will not tolerate harassment, public defamation, or baseless threats involving local authorities and platforms like Shopify. If the defamatory public postings continue, we will be forced to take legal action to protect our business reputation", this intimidation tactic has had zero effect on us. We are not threatening; we have already filed formal complaints with the FBI, FTC, Shopify, GoDaddy and relevant authorities.
In response, today we submitted a formal settlement offer directly to their marketing and partnerships team, open until August 18, 2026. We have offered a path to resolution, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Acknowledge their failures with customers and clearly disassociate
- Publish a public statement on their website and social media channels acknowledging the brand confusion, taking responsibility, and explicitly confirming that Leaf Cosmetics has no affiliation with Skin Leaf Cosmetics.
- Pay compensation for harm caused: A payment of $200,000 USD in damages for brand confusion and severe reputational damage.
- Rebrand: Formally change their commercial name to permanently prevent future recurrence and customer deception.
Should Leaf Cosmetics fail to accept these terms by August 18, we will proceed with full legal action under U.S. federal (Lanham Act) and Florida state law, seeking $2,000,000 USD in compensation, treble damages, and attorney's fees, alongside full media exposure across Europe and the United States together with the group of affected consumers. We have been dealing with this burden for a long time and now it must stop, one way or another.
