On the 2nd of February this year
On the 2nd of February this year, I booked two tickets for Max Richter’s recomposed version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Within five minutes of making the booking, I realised I was unable to attend and immediately emailed the organisers to explain the mistake and ask whether a refund would be possible.
After quite a long wait for a response, I was told refunds were not possible due to their policy and that I would instead need to rebook another event. After some back and forth, I agreed on the 19th of February to accept tickets for another event from their programme instead.
From that point onward, communication became extremely poor and very infrequent. I followed up again on the 21st of February and received no reply. Eventually, on the 27th of March, I was sent a code to use on their website, but it only covered a single ticket rather than the two tickets I had originally purchased.
I informed them of this issue on the same day and then followed up repeatedly on the 1st of April, 6th of April, and 9th of April without resolution. On the 21st of April, they finally responded asking me to resend my tickets so they could check the matter. I sent the tickets immediately, followed up again on the 8th of May, and since then I have still received no response at all.
The customer service has been exceptionally poor throughout this process. Responses take weeks or sometimes over a month, there is no way to contact them by phone, and the entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. At this point, given the lack of communication and failure to resolve something they had already agreed to, it genuinely feels as though my money has simply been taken without proper service or accountability.
