My experience with Ritani was outstanding from beginning to end.
After extensive comparison shopping, I purchased my wife a 4.02-carat round lab-grown diamond graded F color, VVS1 clarity and Ideal cut by IGI, mounted in Ritani’s Quinn six-prong 2 mm platinum solitaire setting. The finished ring is spectacular.
One of Ritani’s greatest strengths is its website. It was easy to navigate, provided an enormous selection of both natural and laboratory-grown diamonds, and allowed me to compare specifications and prices much more easily than many competing online jewelers. I felt the diamond I selected represented exceptional “bang for the buck” relative to many comparable four-carat stones I found elsewhere.
Ritani’s communication throughout production was equally impressive. Their online tracking page showed the ring progressing through diamond sourcing, gemological inspection, casting, polishing, diamond setting, quality assurance and shipping. Email updates accompanied the process, and the finished ring arrived one day earlier than the original estimated delivery date.
Customer service deserves special recognition. Danica C. was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful. Questions sent to Ritani customer service were answered extremely quickly—often almost immediately—which gave me great confidence making an important purchase online.
I also had the finished ring independently checked by a reputable local jeweler. Without being told the IGI number in advance, he quickly located the microscopic girdle inscription and confirmed that it matched the certificate. He then inspected the six-prong setting and confirmed that the diamond was straight and very securely seated.
Ritani exceeded my expectations in selection, pricing, craftsmanship, communication and customer service. Five stars and a very strong recommendation.
