Unfortunately, if the buyer identifies any issues that were not listed on your selling profile, they may look to cancel the sale or adjust their offer at the point of collection to take this into account, as your offer is based on the accuracy of the information provided and advertised on your profile.

In this case, the buyer provided a photo showing that the vehicle had no coolant, which we were not made aware of prior to listing your vehicle.

Ultimately, dealers are not able to carry out a full and comprehensive mechanical inspection on the driveway and will typically proceed with caution, relying on any immediately visible issues, due to the potential financial risk involved.

Please rest assured that you are never obligated to accept a reduction or an offer that you are unhappy with, as selling your vehicle with Motorway is voluntary at all times; however, the vehicle must be as described to guarantee no reduction to your offer at the point of inspection.
