Review of PuppyPad

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I purchased a PuppyPad for my two small…

I purchased a PuppyPad for my two small dogs and neither dog has used it. Instead, my female dog still pees on the wood floor. I'm not sure where my male dog is peeing because I can't find any spots.
Before I go to bed I let my dogs out one last time to do their thing. I watch them go and sometimes I wake up to a clean floor and sometimes there's a puddle.
I'm going to ask for a refund for this pad. It doesn't attract my dogs at all. Also, it took a long time to receive this pad.
Update 5/01/26:
I received a refund for the pad. The people at this company are very nice and helpful and have kept in touch with me. I am not faulting the company nor the pad for my dogs not going on it. I don't know why they don't use it. Seems that other people have had positive results. Guess I have weird dogs.

Review of The Home Depot

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I ordered a new dishwasher from Home…

I ordered a new dishwasher from Home Depot that cost me little over $800. The washer itself didn't cost that much but it was all the added stuff that ran up the bill.
The dishwasher was delivered yesterday by two HD employees; one who does not speak a word of English. The other guy does.
They removed my old dishwasher and installed the new one, a Whirlpool. After the installers left I loaded the washer and turned it on. After a long cycle I discovered that not one of the dishes had been cleaned. Not ONE!!! I tried it again this time on a different cycle. Again, dirty dishes. I think the dishwasher was installed incorrectly. I called the appliance center and an inspector is coming out next Tuesday. I am so frustrated. I am now wondering if they brought me a faulty dishwasher knowing it was faulty. I'm hoping it's just hooked up incorrectly.
My first dishwasher was purchased from Lowe's. It lasted six years then stopped cleaning the dishes. It ran but no dishes were cleaned. What in the world is going on????????????

Cheaply Made Clothing

This company and its 'sister' companies are all the same. The clothes are made cheaply, cheap fabric, weird items.
Today, two items arrived that I purchased and once again I was disappointed. The 'tunic' top on the model looks wonderful. What I received was just an ordinary T-shirt with embellishments on it. I washed both items and didn't put them in the dryer for fear they would shrink up to a child's size.
The white 'embroidery' on the 'tunic' is white, the top is black and the white lint got on the black top. After this dries I will have to use my lint roller to remove it. The black tank top is the same way.
Sure the prices are okay but pay a little bit more for better quality clothes.

Review of American Home Shield

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Do NOT get a contract with American Home Shield!!!

I have had a contract with American Home Shield for decades and have only used them twice. The first time was a very long time ago and the second time was last month.
My central ac system is having issues so I requested service and of course had to pay a 'dispatch' fee of $100. Someone from a local ac & heating company came out, checked the ac unit and found no issues. Days later however, my ac unit stopped working.
This morning I contacted the local ac company and was advised to call AHS to have them dispatch someone out to my house. I was on hold with AHS for HOURS. No one ever answered the phone. There is no way to contact AHS on their website either. They have a Twitter account, Facebook account and Instagram account but no one responds to any of them.
I finally made the decision that if I want my ac unit working again which I very much do because it's incredibly hot and humid, I paid ANOTHER $100 to AHS. This is outrageous!
I am a retired senior on a fixed income and I can't be spending all of this money on service fees. I have been trying to call AHS all day long but it's the same thing. Put on hold.
They will take your money but they won't talk to you on the phone.
I decided to get a contract with another home warranty company that was recommended to me by the local ac/heating company. Same coverage, about the same cost as AHS. Three dollars less. It would have been a lot less but I opted to have my ac system checked twice yearly which is about $40 a year.
American Home Shield outsources all of their phone calls to other countries and you would think that they have enough employees answering the phone. Apparently they don't. This other company I now have a contract with does not outsource calls. They are in the US and all calls are answered in the US.
The local ac/heating company said she has never had any issues with the company she recommended and she said the company answers calls quickly. She said AHS doesn't and she has the same problems as we do trying to get someone on the phone.
This morning after all this hassle I wrote a letter to the CEO and president of AHS explaining what happened. I told him that I wanted two things. I want my $100 back and I want to cancel my contract. I'm sure I will never hear from him but I am at my wit's end with this sorry company.

Review of Burlington

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I should have known better than to…

I should have known better than to order anything from this store. However, I live in a small town and not close to a large city and I needed long sleeved tops. I should have stuck with Amazon.
I ordered a few things from Burlington. When the items arrived they were in a big box which was ridiculously large. The clothes were just thrown into the box haphazardly. They weren't in clear plastic bags like most clothes that come in the mail. I'm sure whoever filled my order just took the clothes off of the hangers and threw them into this box. I have never seen anything like it.
The 'teddy bear' jacket or whatever it's called is a joke. It's sewn together like a child sewed it which I hate to say it but a child probably DID sew it. The material is cheap and LOOKS cheap.
I ordered a pair of fleece-lined leggings in a plus size and I had to laugh when I held them up. The leggings look like they could fit a child and I don't know what their idea of fleece is but these leggings are certainly not lined with anything.
The only item I am keeping is the blue top I bought IF it doesn't shrink after I wash it.
Burlington Coat Factory used to carry quality items but now it's nothing but crap. Everything made in China, everything sized incorrectly and no one cares about quality control.

I contacted Burlington yesterday about my order and they replied telling me: "We do our best to pack and ship your order as quickly as possible." What a joke.
They also told me to return these items to one of their stores. If I was able to return the clothes I would have bought them FROM the store and tried them on BEFORE I bought them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review of Baezshop

Weeks ago I purchased a pair of women's…

Weeks ago I purchased a pair of women's boots and a blouse from Baezshop.com. It took seemingly forever for my order to arrive and when it did, nothing fit. The boots are too big and the blouse is too small.
I contacted the online store and requested a refund and asked them to email a shipping label to me so I can return the items. I received an email today from this company and was told they don't provide shipping labels; the shipping is the customer's responsibility. Not only that, I was told that the company is in China and I would of course have to pay for the International shipping. It took them three days to tell me this.
First of all, I didn't realize that the merchandise was being shipped to me from China. I thought that this company was here in the US.
Even if I do decide to pay for an outrageous shipping fee, I'm sure I would probably never see my refund or if they decided to refund me I"m sure it would take months to get it.

Now I'm stuck with items I cannot use.
What kind of a company doesn't offer a shipping label? Amazon does and many other companies do.
Stay away from Baezshop.com and buy elsewhere.
