Review of Marquis Leisure
I purchased a used Auto‑Sleepers Bourton from Marquis Suffolk in June 2026 and want to give an honest and factual account of my experience.
The initial viewing involved over an hour looking around approximately forty vehicles. I live with ME/CFS, which affects cognitive processing and fatigue, and although I informed staff that I was disabled, no adjustments were made to help me manage the pace or volume of information.
After forming a view on an Auto‑Sleepers Stanton, a different vehicle (the Bourton) was suddenly introduced. This was unexpected and added new variables to consider at speed. We also had to leave the premises to retrieve my wife’s driving licence for a test drive, and the salesperson had an afternoon appointment and an upcoming holiday, which contributed to a sense of urgency.
The deposit was taken with the words “this is non‑refundable” spoken quietly while walking towards the printer, rather than as part of a clear discussion. Under normal circumstances, we would have taken time to compare both vehicles properly, check the MOT advisories, and notice a Camping and Caravanning Club promotion that was not mentioned at the point of sale despite discussing our long‑term CCC membership.
After purchase, several issues arose. A cracked windscreen was reported one hour before collection. A list of snagging items, including cracked shower silicone, was not passed to the service department, resulting in the vehicle being returned to us with only the windscreen addressed. The service certificate stated the vehicle had been fully prepared, but the washer fluid was almost empty and the AdBlue tank required 10 litres.
A material appliance substitution (the fridge) was not disclosed before purchase. The fridge fitted was not the original specification and differed from other Bourtons on the forecourt. This only became apparent after the sale.
Communication after purchase was inconsistent, and a later telephone conversation regarding my concerns was difficult for me due to my disability. I have since asked that all communication be in writing.
Some matters were eventually dealt with, and staff were polite at times, but overall the experience left me feeling unsupported, rushed, and disadvantaged as a disabled customer. I hope this review helps improve transparency, communication, and disability awareness for future buyers.

Review of GivEnergy Ltd.
The customer service has completely collapsed, the software has collapsed and unless you cough up the subscription to premium services you can't access the software. Surley there must be legal back up when something like this happens. The whole system, inverters, batteries and software (app) wasn't cheap.
Review of Swift caravans, motorhomes & holiday homes
I purchased a brand new Swift caravan in February 2024 with the expectation of quality, reliability, and an enjoyable start to retirement. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
From the outset, the caravan suffered from multiple faults, including a leaking shower, missing and poorly fitted components, and significant issues with build quality and finish. Of particular concern was evidence that an external panel had been repaired prior to delivery, despite the caravan being sold as new.
The caravan was also returned for major remedial work, including a full replacement of the offside panel at the factory and requiring a full front panel replacement due to water ingress. While I was assured that all work had been completed to an acceptable standard, further issues have since emerged around the panoramic window.
Further and most recent faults include cracking to external panels (including areas adjacent to previously replaced bodywork and around the awning rail), failure of internal bodywork in the area of the panoramic window (which has already been repaired twice), and a complete loss of the 12V electrical system during use, with ongoing electrical concerns following that event.
In the first 10 months alone, the caravan was unusable for a total of 68 days due to warranty repairs.
Just over two years on, and now going into the third year of ownership, significant issues are still arising. The caravan has required multiple repairs, extended periods off the road, and ongoing engagement with both the supplying dealer (they're as fed up of me as I am with the caravan) and Swift. Despite this, problems persist, raising serious concerns about durability and long-term reliability.
This experience has significantly impacted what was intended to be an enjoyable period of retirement and has led to a complete loss of confidence in both the product and the brand.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Swift, and I would strongly urge prospective buyers to consider whether this level of quality, reliability, and aftersales support is acceptable for a product of this value.
23/04/2026 My reply to Swift response is...
Thank you for your response.
For clarity, this matter is already well documented and ongoing, involving both Swift and the supplying dealer. A Swift engineer is scheduled to attend shortly in relation to multiple recurring and unresolved faults.
Given the extent of the issues and the history involved, I would have expected a more substantive response rather than being redirected to a general enquiries inbox.
I am, of course, happy to engage constructively, but this situation now requires proper review and resolution at an appropriate level.
I look forward to a more considered response.

Late and slow response times on doorbell and cameras...rarely catching the action. Homebase desperately slow too. Sadly I recommend to my son using the referral link, Eufy not paying referral bonus! Very poor customer support! Avoid!

Review of RAC Car Insurance
1-Star Review – RAC Insurance
After more than 50 years of driving, I have never encountered such poor communication and lack of accountability from an insurer.
I transferred ownership of my vehicle into my son’s name. At no stage was it clearly explained that doing so would invalidate or materially affect my insurance policy. This is fundamental information that any reasonable policyholder would expect to be made explicitly clear.
When I raised a complaint, RAC refused to accept any responsibility and chose not to uphold it. There was no recognition that clearer guidance at the time could have prevented the situation entirely. Instead, the burden was placed solely on me.
Insurance is supposed to provide protection and clarity. In this case, I experienced neither. I felt misled, unsupported, and ultimately dismissed.
I would urge anyone considering RAC Insurance to think carefully and obtain everything in writing before making even the smallest change to their policy.

Overrated and overpriced! Below average quality food extortionately priced. 4 burgers, 4 fries and 3 drinks £79! Very average quality and quantity! You've got to be kidding!
Review of EaseUS
Initial impression of this company were poor, so many price variations that who knows what the best deal is.
Data recovery was slow and the software regularly crashed meaning wasted time whilst the end of the license was fast approaching. Overall this doesn't appear to be 'professional' quality software! No wonder there are many 1 star reviews.
05/09/2025... Obviously it's not anything to do with their software! Relinquishing all responsibility, but they've got my honest money! Don't trust this company!

In the past few months the software seems to have become a real problem. Have notified customer service but to-date they haven't replied. The main issue is that the batteries don't discharge as expected causing excessive grid import...costly malfunction! Pretty disappointing.

Review of Swift caravans, motorhomes & holiday homes
Bought a brand new Swift Challenger 480 SE caravan from Norwich Caravans in February 2024 (circa £30,000), however, after using it a couple of times a resprayed patch high up on the side panel became apparent…so not a new van, a second quality previously damaged and repaired product! The shower leaked as did the panoramic window causing internal water damage. In 10 months, the caravan has been in for warranty work for 68 days. So far, the warranty work carried out is as follows:
Fitted new offside panel
Fitted new GRP front panel
Full shower set up removed
Shower tray and Bi-fold doors
Damp tested floor and readings were 8%-10% and no leaks
Shower tray and bi-fold door re-fitted
Applied new sealant to shower area
Checked waste fitting on the shower tray and rubber seal fitted under drain on shower tray
Refitted BBQ gas point
Adjusted and tightened fold away sliding table
Adjusted kitchen cupboard doors
Replaced front shelf
Replaced washroom upright panel
Replaced washroom door pillar
Replaced and reinforced seat support under front N/S cushion
Re-worked gas locker catch
Resealed front hinge bar
Re-secured micro oven in housing
Re-fixed R/H dress stringer and replaced R/H panel
Re-fixed the radio housing
Fitted new panoramic window (damage caused to interior by fitters)
There were also a number of issues that required a DIY fix too!

Review of G.B.C
Had a quote from Impragas but wanted to change a few items. Spoke with their representative however two weeks on have heard nothing. A waste of time.
This was dealt with very promptly and professionally by their head office.
A company that takes its customers seriously!
