The stroller of your wildest dreams
I was ready to spend 1000+ EUR on the Thule Urban Glide, the "Porsche" among baby strollers, cause I was so fed up to hoist my regular stroller over the curb. Then I discovered the Deryan Bolt Hard Running Jogger for just 200 EUR. I never write reviews, but I will share this marvel:
(+) I don't even look for curbs anymore. I fly right over them with the air filled wheels. The biggest effing wheels I've ever seen on a stroller.
(+) baby and I are so much more safer in traffic cause I can LOOK for traffic and just ignore how the ground looks
(+) adjustable height, my super tall husband loves it
(+) biiiig basket, great for groceries
(+) baby has her own accessible pockets for her water bottle
(+) bumper bar opens and closes. It's included. Bugaboo and Thule charge you 50 Euros for this!
(+) mosquito net is included and zips right on
(+) sun cover is UV protected and really big
(+) it looks amazing. Super sporty. I feel great
(+) still a great medium size for a jogger. No problem to board trains for example. It's not as wide as the Thule
(+) belt to fixate the baby has magnets to find the right position
Did I mention that it feels like flying with this thing? I feel like I'm loosing weight cause I'm walking faster. Baby is excited cause she feels like on an adventure
Deryan people, I hope you're reading this. Here are some cons I'm sure you can fix. Buyers... don't worry, these points don't take away from an overall phantastic stroller.
(-) break is super easy to close (super safe!) but a bit hard to open
(-) backrest adjustable with a strap. It's better than Bugaboo and Cybex solved it, but still annoying.
(-) hip belt is a bit short at max extension for a big baby wearing winter gear
(-) please sell a matching foot sack. I want this stroller to shine in all matching gear
(-) the sun cover doesn't stay in the closed position, it always "jumps" a bit open. I have to fixate it with a clip
By the way, we know Deryan from having traveled the world with their portable mosquito repellent baby bed. It's amazing and super durable. It survived literal jungle and kept baby safe. They also seem to have nice baby carriers - I would have love to have known that before.
I hope to see more solutions from Deryan and I hope the stroller holds up to longtime testing. For now, I'm off buying another one for the grandparents.
