Truely terrible

Truely terrible. We've used Easyship on and off for years, as they do offer a good discount compared to the retail rates offered by international couriers. However we've found them to be virtually unusable as a service for our business, for two main reasons: 1) Their system regularly has bugs with payment, or retrieving shipping documents, and 2) Their support is virtually non-existent. Imagine you're a business needing to ship your high value order to your customer ASAP. You create an shipment order, and try to pay, but there's a problem and you can't create the shipment order. So you contact support, and there's no live agent support, so you leave a message, and after 24 hours there's no reply. Your customers chasing you for their order.. Ironically, it could be such a good service if only these two issues were solved. How hard can in be to iron out a few system bugs and hire a support agent from the from Asia to answer customer support. Honestly I'm amazed they are still in business. While waiting for Easyship reply to our support ticket from a shipment yesterday, we've found another shipping agent, and they've already collected our package and reached out to us to see if there's anything else they can assist with. Night and day...

Terrible: Deceptive Delivery Information & Long Wait times

Unfortunately the other reviews are accurate - I do don't recommend ordering from this company: Long delays in shipping, and they appear to be deceitful in their order communications and customer service responses.
I placed my first order on 25th Sept and they indicated delivery within a few days. Two weeks no delivery, and they ask me to "wait just a bit longer". A few days later, still no update, so I followed up again. "Sorry, we believe it's lost and can refund you". Disappointed but ok..

Thinking maybe my first order really was just lost, I ordered again on 25th Oct. Quickly I get an email saying "Order Shipped". 5 days later, the Australian Post tracking still says "Ready for Processing" (ie: not yet collected by Aus Post).

So they are deceitful from the start - telling you it's shipped when in fact they're still waiting for the stock to arrive. What I believe they do is this:

1) Receive your order
2) Send you a tracking no. from a shipping label (but not ship it yet)
2) Order the stock from China
3) Wait for the stock to arrive from China
4) Ship it to you

Now that would be ok - IF they were clear about the order process and wait times. But when their website indicates delivery at 5 days and they send you an order shipped email - but in reality there is no shipment yet and you're not likely to get your order any time soon... Well that's just dishonest, and a great way to lose customers and drive your business into the ground.

I called their local number (during business hours) and there's a recorded message saying "call during business hours"? Cannot speak to anyone.

Their prices might appear attractive, but do not be fooled - it's not worth the pain.

Great Experience

I used Currency Fair for the first time last month at the suggestion of a friend who'd used it. I'm normally the lazy type with funds transfer and accept the terrible rates offered by big banks. But needed to transfer a sizable sum, so thought I'd give it a try. There is a bit of set up with bank accounts etc.. - but they make what could be a complicated process pretty straight forward. And once it's set up, it's done, so future transactions are even easier. I transferred AUD 10,000, and saved a decent amount vs. the big bank rates. Will use as standard from now on, except perhaps for very small amounts..
