It was mind-blowing and ridiculous…

It was a mind-blowing and ridiculous experience. I bought a six-month Spotify top-up card, only to discover that I had to give my secret, personal, and non-transferable password to some random guy for it to work. After a lot of hassle, I managed to cancel this pointless purchase and asked for MY money back. Unfortunately, they refunded me as store credit, even though I explicitly requested a refund to my PayPal! The end result was me buying nonsense from this penguin-owned store, where everything is kind of suspicious and shady. It was the first and last time I bought anything from these guys. My level of trust is completely ZERO!

Reply from Kinguin.net

Dear Jose,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. As stated on the offer page, the six-month Spotify top-up card you purchased was a manual top-up. This process requires the email and password of your Spotify account so that the merchant can deliver the product. We realize this may not have been clear enough and regret any confusion it caused.

Regarding your refund, we can confirm that your order was refunded in Kinguin Balance. From what we can see, you have already managed to use this balance on your recent orders, which we hope provided some value despite the initial issue. In addition, since the merchant cancelled the order, the system automatically processed the refund to your Kinguin Balance.

We have also reached out to you via ticket for further clarification. For more details, please check ticket number 1787798, which you can view here: https://kingu.in/MyTickets.

Your feedback is very important to us, and we will continue working to improve clarity in our processes and policies to ensure a better experience for our customers.

Kind regards,
Megumi

The trains move back and forth..

The trains move back and forth... That's the positive point... On the other hand, the ticketing system is the most confusing thing in the universe, with an incomprehensible jumble of zones. The lines pass through stations on the map, but in real life, nothing like that happens. There's a menacing team of mercenaries who scare customers under the pretext of checking if they have the right tickets (no, they're not criminals on board the train, they're actually company employees). The signage and the entire information system seem to have been designed by a group of lunatics and are completely incomprehensible.

Review of CP - Comboios de Portugal

A return to the 70s.

A return to the 70s in a poor communist country.
I just arrived from Porto airport and made the mistake of taking the CP train home. In Campanhã, I ran into a group of tourists trying to get to Aveiro. They feel lost and alarmed. A family of two parents and three children stare at a ticket machine that looks like something out of a 1970s Soviet Union spy movie. The machine only has menus in Portuguese, and even for a Portuguese citizen like me, it's complicated and confusing. They ask me if the CP app allows me to buy tickets, but it seems impossible for the Aveiro train line. After much effort, I manage to buy the same tickets. We board the crowded train with difficulty because only a few doors work!!! What works well at CP? - the inspector who immediately appears, determined to catch a tourist who couldn't understand the system, to give him a fine...I remember that tourism is one of the main sources of income in Portugal

Correu bem

Nas duas compras que fiz não tive grandes problemas. Foram relativamente rápidos na entrega. Num das compras esqueceram-se de adicionar o adaptador uk-eu da tomada elétrica, mas após um curto mail, enviaram-me no dia seguinte. Telefonaram-me a pedir desculpa.
