Reading the passfile in the pgpass format A line that starts with # is a comment, and a # anywhere else is part of the field, so a password such as pa#ss keeps its #. A \ makes the next character part of the field, so \: is a : and \\ is a \, in every field (D70). The D69 check at xo/oracle v0.1.0 and v0.1.1 is recorded, and D69 is decided. Moving oracle to the xo/oracle driver The oracle scheme opens github.com/xo/oracle. GenOracle passes the URL through: it adds port 1521 and keeps the path and the query as written. The first path segment is the service name, the second is the instance name, and a / in a service name is written %2F. The driver is not tagged yet, so the change is provisional (D69). Moving maxcompute and tablestore to the dbimp drivers The maxcompute URL is maxcompute://id:key@host/project, and the tablestore URL is tablestore://id:secret@host/instance. Both need the key id, the secret, a host and a path. A tablestore host of the form instance.region gets the suffix .ots.aliyuncs.com. The tablestore scheme and Dialect replace ots, which and ot stay as aliases. The drivers do not exist in dbimp yet, so the change is provisional (D68). Fixing the time zone defaults of the SQLite schemes go-sqlite3 reads _loc and not loc, so the sqlite3 default is now _loc=auto. moderncsqlite gets _timezone=Local, and its driver name is sqlite, the name modernc.org/sqlite registers. Moving exasol to the dbimp driver The exasol scheme opens github.com/xo/dbimp/exasol. The URL is exasol://user:password@host:port/schema?key=value, a URL with no user returns ErrMissingUser, and the generator adds no port. Adding default query options to schemes A scheme can carry Defaults, query options that Parse adds when the URL does not give the key, and a value the URL gives always wins. mysql, memsql, tidb and vitess get parseTime, loc and sql_mode, sqlite3 gets loc, cassandra gets timeout, and couchbase gets txtimeout (D65).
