Merge pull request #77 from t4t5/owly-rust This replaces the patched OWL (and the mix of shell + Python code around it) with a clean Rust implementation of AWDL and AirDrop (called Owly). **Benefits:** - **No C toolchain or patched OWL to build.** It's one Rust workspace with no `libpcap` or `libnl` dependencies, and memory-safe code where frames from untrusted devices get parsed. - **Works without Omdrop.** The `owly` CLI can `browse`, `send` and `receive` on its own. `owlyd` lends the radio out over D-Bus, and `omdrop-owl` is now a client of it. - **Tested against a spec.** `docs/SPEC.md` describes the protocol and comes with conformance vectors, recorded captures and a coverage check. - **Easier to support new hardware.** `owly doctor` says why a card won't work, and `owly test-card` writes a report that feeds the README's hardware table. - **Prebuilt packages.** There's a .deb (Debian 12+, Ubuntu 22.04+), an .rpm (Fedora 44+), `omdrop-owl-bin` on the AUR, and `owly` on the AUR for the CLI alone.
Publish omdrop-owl to AUR (#19) Makes omdrop-owl installable with `yay -S omdrop-owl`. - `tools/aur-pkgbuild.sh` generates the AUR PKGBUILD from the repo's PKGBUILD. The generated version builds from the `v<pkgver>` release tarball rather than the checkout. - **Release workflow:** when a `pkgver`/`pkgrel` bump lands on `main`, it builds the package, tags `v<pkgver>` with a GitHub release and pushes to the AUR. It refuses a `pkgrel`-only bump if any files from the tagged tarball have changed. - **Check workflow:** builds the AUR PKGBUILD on every PR. - README and post-install messages now point to the AUR and omdrop 0.16.0+, and no longer say MT7925-only.
