What I'm adding

PitLane Digest — a live F1 timing site I built and actively maintain.

Proposed entry (under Live Timing):

  • PitLane Digest - Real-time race timing tower with gap to leader, interval, tyre compound and age, mini-sector colours, and race control messages; also available as a WordPress plugin for embedding the live widget on any post or page.

Why it fits

  • Activates automatically when a Race session begins, powered by the OpenF1 API on the backend.
  • Actively maintained — deployed on a live VPS with blue-green deploys; data stays current every race weekend.
  • The WordPress plugin lets any WordPress site embed the timing tower as a shortcode or Gutenberg block — a utility angle not covered by other entries in this section.

Checklist

  • Link is publicly accessible and requires no login
  • Entry follows the existing format (- [Name](url) - Description.)
  • No duplicate of an existing entry

Thanks for the submission. I checked the Live Center and the public session endpoint, which currently reports the September 13, 2026 Spanish race. The site looks like a relevant addition to Live Timing.

Before merging, please provide a public installation, download, or documentation link for the WordPress plugin mentioned in README.md:100, or remove that clause from the entry. I could not locate a distribution link in the public pages I checked. That is a verification gap, not a claim that the plugin does not exist; a self-hosted distribution page would also be fine.

I also suggest linking directly to the Live Center so readers land on the timing feature. Without the plugin clause, the entry could be:

- [PitLane Digest](https://pitlanedigest.com/live) - Live F1 timing dashboard with gaps, intervals, tyre compound and age, mini-sector colors, and race control messages.

My check was outside an active session, so it confirms page/API access and recent session metadata, not the accuracy of live updates during a race.

Following a fresh check on 7 November, the Live Center and public timing APIs have substantive recent session data. The following changes are still needed:

  1. Resolve the 18 September request: provide a public plugin installation/download/documentation link, or remove the WordPress-plugin clause. A self-hosted distribution is fine; I am not requiring WordPress-directory publication or claiming the plugin does not exist. Please link the listing directly to /live.

  2. Reconcile the privacy policy with the cookie policy. The former describes cookieless analytics but also says third-party analytics cookies are set; the latter names _ga cookies and region-dependent consent behavior. Please describe the actual provider, storage and consent behavior consistently.

  3. Keep the entry scoped to timing. Your editorial policy discloses automatically published AI briefs without human review. This list should not imply that those briefs are independently verified journalism.

These are feature-verification and disclosure issues, not a finding of maliciousness or unlawful tracking. Please provide the plugin evidence or revised entry and corrected policies before inclusion.
