Wave 3 PR 5 — Long-haul Smoke Suite

Closes #220.

Changes

  • tests/smoke_test.rs — #[ignore] smoke test (smoke_large_graph_10_cycles):

    • Phase 1: load 500 entities × 10 attributes = 5,000 facts (batched in groups of 50)
    • Phase 2: 10 reopen + query + checkpoint cycles, 7 invariants per cycle:
      1. All 500 entities queryable by :name
      2. All 500 :index values present (unique per entity)
      3. Bucket distribution: 10 buckets × 50 entities each
      4. Active entity count: 333 (entities where i % 3 != 0)
      5. Temporal query (:as-of 1) returns results from first tx
      6. Prepared query for :region returns correct 63 entities for region-0
      7. Write one new cycle fact, checkpoint
    • Phase 3: final reopen — verify all 500 entities + all 10 cycle facts present
    • Runs in ~1.3s locally; standard cargo test skips it (1 ignored)

  • .github/workflows/smoke.yml — nightly scheduled runner:

    • Cron: 0 5 * * * (5am UTC daily)
    • workflow_dispatch for on-demand runs
    • 15-minute timeout
    • RUST_BACKTRACE: 1

cargo test --test smoke_test -- --include-ignored --nocapture
