Some highlights:

  • Run re-augmentation (config command) transparently whenever a build-time property changes. Once run, re-augmentation won't happen again for the same set of CLI arguments.

  • Re-org CLI options so that start, start-dev, and config commands have the same list of options. If we want to still keep options specific for commands (e.g.: built-time only for config) it would add a bit more complexity that I'm not sure makes sense.

To make this work, I had to force invalidation of caches kept by Quarkus classloaders. Something not very usual that relies on unsupported APIs.

Alternatively, we could use scripts but I would love to keep our scripts as simple as possible without having to worry about implementing logic for different platforms (windows/linux).
