An open-source terminal user interface for Kubernetes.
Kute is a keyboard-first TUI client designed to make exploring and managing Kubernetes clusters faster, simpler, and more enjoyable—without leaving the terminal.
The project is created and maintained by Michael Ayvazyan under the kute-dev organization.
Kute is under active development. Features, workflows, and interfaces may change as the project evolves.
Kubernetes is powerful, but everyday cluster operations often involve long commands, repeated context switching, and large amounts of YAML.
Kute aims to provide a focused terminal experience that is:
- Fast — responsive, lightweight, and terminal-native
- Keyboard-first — designed for efficient navigation and operation
- Intuitive — useful without requiring every command to be memorized
- Transparent — built around familiar Kubernetes concepts
- Open source — developed publicly and available for anyone to explore
Kute is currently developed and maintained solely by Michael Ayvazyan.
The project is still taking shape, so development is intentionally kept focused. External code contributions are not being accepted at this time.
