uname -a
FreeBSD 9.1-RC2 FreeBSD 9.1-RC2 #9: Wed Nov 14 09:40:38 CET 2012
Compiler :
gcc (GCC) 4.2.1 20070831
I obtained the source by cloning the infinidb repo
I had few compiling errors before facing the error :
1/ system.c: In function 'get_boottime':
system.c:713: warning: passing argument 6 of 'sysctl' makes integer from pointer without a cast
In file included from system.c:1071:
/usr/include/sys/utsname.h: In function 'netsnmp_os_prematch':
/usr/include/sys/utsname.h:64: error: invalid storage class for function 'uname'
*** [system.lo] Error code 1
This is because an inline function is defined in utsname.h and that the include happens inside the netsnmp_os_prematch function body. Moving the include outside the function removes the error.
2/ There is an issue in the net-snmp configure script which doesn't detect the right version of the freebsd.h file to include (it includes the freebsd.h file where it should take the freebsd6.h one). I hardcoded the right file in the net-snmp-config.h to fix this.
Then I encounter the above issue.
I also tried the "hard way" in the README.md file but I have the exact same issues.
