A link opened from a message loses utm_ tags, fbclid, gclid, mc_eid and similar, and Outlook Safe Links, Google, Facebook and YouTube redirects are unwrapped when the target is in the link, with no lookup. Settings, Privacy, Remove trackers from links turns it off. Reader, composer and preview views set DNS prefetching off explicitly.

mail::link_clean, strips about 35 tracking parameters (utm_*,fbclid,gclid,mc_eid, HubSpot's, ...) and unwraps Outlook Safe Links, Google/url, Facebookl.phpand YouTube/redirectwhen the target is inside the URL, up to four levels, with no network request. Everything else in the URL is left byte for byte. It applies to clicked links and to Open Link, behind a new privacy setting, Remove trackers from links, on by default.Tests: a 21-case table for link cleaning; the privacy golden; a display test (ignored without one) for the WebView settings.
