Update go 1.27.2 → 1.27.3

Changelog: golang/go@go1.27.2...go1.27.3

Pkgscan: clean — diff against the prior version surfaced no newly-introduced suspicious patterns.

Components changed

CycloneDX component delta (declared materials — the package's own version, not a dependency-tree diff)

Quality suggestions

  • Missing tests block. This package has no standalone tests, so the buildbot will only verify compilation — not functional correctness. Consider adding a minimal smoke test (e.g., a --version or small round-trip invocation) as part of this PR so future bumps catch regressions. See packages/python/build.ncl for a simple example.

The diff is the expected two-line bump, and nothing in it looks wrong.

  • Real security release. Comparing the official 1.27.2 and 1.27.3 toolchains (proxy.golang.org), the only src/ change is in crypto/x509 (verify.go, root_darwin.go, root_windows.go). It adds 8 distrusted SPKI hashes, which removes trust in one or more CAs.
  • Bootstrap unchanged. It still bootstraps from source with go 1.24.9, and 1.27.3 needs at least 1.24.6 (cmd/dist/buildtool.go:127).
  • build.sh still applies. The source tree layout is identical to 1.27.2.

I'll approve once two things are confirmed:

  1. sha256 (build.ncl:17, 6e7749035cf3…). I couldn't verify it from my environment (go.dev and GitHub were blocked, and staging has only 1.27.0). A green minimal build confirms it, since the fetch is pinned. Otherwise, run curl -sL https://go.dev/dl/go1.27.3.src.tar.gz | sha256sum.
  2. Dependents. 51 packages import go directly. #935's minimal build took ~17.5 min, which looks like go alone, so its dependents may have been served from cache. Please check whether this run rebuilt them against 1.27.3.

Minor: the bot's body links a GitHub release (Go doesn't publish those), and its release time is off. The official timestamp is 2026-10-19 22:20Z.
