Two things gominimal/bootstrap's port of the JVM ladder turned up in pkgs' own recipes:

  • Five sources fetched upstream (cpio from mirrors.kernel.org, unzip from http.debian.net, icu/libxml2/libxslt from GitHub). The same bytes are now in gs://minimal-staging-archives under the names cmake and meson already use for GitHub sources (GNOME/libxml2/v2.15.4.tar.gz, …); shas unchanged.
  • gcc-15.2.0-glibc loads libzstd.so.1 (cc1, cc1plus, lto1, DT_NEEDED in the gen-4 tarball) but declared only the glibc sysroot as a runtime dep. In pkgs nothing consumes it inside a sandbox, so it never showed; bootstrap's first consumer failed with "C++ compiler cannot create executables".

Spec hashes move for the five packages and for gcc-15.2.0-glibc's dependents, so this costs a partial world rebuild; batching it with the next root flip would avoid that.

…c-15.2.0-glibc: libzstd at runtime

The five recipes fetched upstream; the same bytes are staged (sha unchanged), under the names
cmake and meson use for GitHub sources. gcc-15.2.0-glibc's cc1, cc1plus and lto1 load
libzstd.so.1 (DT_NEEDED), but only the glibc sysroot was declared: the first in-sandbox
consumer, jikes in gominimal/bootstrap, found no libzstd.
