feat(rcache): expose RemoteCache::sha256 accessor - #284
Conversation
Thin passthrough to the content digest the index already stores (`RemoteIndex::sha256`), mirroring `exists`. Lets a caller read a cached artifact's sha256 without materializing it — needed to record dependency content digests in our SLSA provenance. RemoteCache::sha256(spec_hash) -> Option<[u8; 32]>— a thin passthrough to the content digest the index already stores (RemoteIndex::sha256), mirroring the existingexists. Lets a caller read a cached artifact's sha256 without materializing it.Why: needed for our SLSA L3 provenance work — recording each resolved dependency's content digest (
sha256) so the dependency closure is externally verifiable, not just identifiable by spec hash.Unit test added (present →
