fix(minimald): answer NODATA for non-A queries on box-zone names - #2019
Conversation
Non-A DNS queries (TXT, MX, CNAME, SRV, NS) for *.min.internal zone names were forwarded to the host's upstream resolvers instead of being answered NODATA at the relay DNS gate. Only AAAA, HTTPS, and SVCB queries were intercepted (NET-136). Extend intercept_query() to also intercept non-A queries when the name is a box-zone name (is_zone_name), keeping A queries on the gvproxy local-zone path so resolution still works. NET-006.

- Around line 2533-2534: Update the documentation near the DNS forwarding test
to specify that a TXT query outside the zone is forwarded, replacing the broad
“non-A query” claim. Leave the forwarding behavior unchanged.
- Line 479: Update the DNS gate’s query handling to reject datagrams with more
than one question before checking the first question, returning a local FormErr
response. Add a regression test verifying multi-question queries are not
forwarded upstream.
