fix(minimald): distinguish attach timeout from closed, detach on stop timeout - #1733
Conversation
… timeout Two 2-second deadlines in the session attach and stop paths could cause resource leaks: 1. Attach path: HostHandle::attach collapsed both Timeout and Closed send errors into the same Err((channel, sz)), causing the caller to re-mint a host when the mailbox was merely full. Re-minting aborts the old host's task, orphaning its sandbox processes and skipping NetGuard teardown. 2. Stop path: kill_and_stop_loop aborted the task when the kill landed but the loop didn't finish within HOST_PROBE_TIMEOUT. Aborting drops the future at its await point, skipping the NetGuard teardown at the end of Host::mainloop. Changes: - Add HostAttachError enum with Timeout and Closed variants so the caller can distinguish a busy host from a dead one. - Return AttachError::SessionBusy on timeout instead of re-minting, so the client can retry once the host drains. - Detach rather than abort the task in kill_and_stop_loop when the kill was sent but the task is slow, so NetGuard teardown can still run once the loop drains.
