The client runs bounded Git probes and enriches session-list entries in the CLI and TUI. The RPC documentation describes host-side probing, and tests cover non-repositories, linked worktrees, and unborn repositories. ChangesHost-side Git context

test so plain.path() is guaranteed to be outside any enclosing Git worktree
before asserting None; use an isolated temporary location or otherwise detach it
from parent repository discovery while preserving the existing non-repository
assertion.
- Around line 1173-1180: Limit concurrency in fill_git_info by introducing a
shared Tokio semaphore with a fixed maximum permit count and acquiring an owned
permit inside each JoinSet task before calling probe_git_info. Preserve the
existing index/result handling and task spawning behavior while ensuring no more
than the configured number of Git probes run simultaneously.
- Line 1142: Update probe_git_info to avoid combining branch and repository-path
lookups through git rev-parse: obtain the branch with git symbolic-ref --short
HEAD, falling back to HEAD for detached checkouts, then query the toplevel and
absolute Git directory separately so unborn repositories still return metadata.
Add a test covering an initialized repository with an unborn HEAD.

This PR has merge conflicts with its base branch ( Conflicted files:
Reason it's not trivial: both sides edit the same BEP-025 markdown lines differently (HEAD appends "only after BEP-055's upstream validation has succeeded" and extra property text), which is not a disjoint addition. Recommended action: rebase or merge manually, then remove the

On macOS the daemon runs in the minvmd guest, where the host's project paths do not exist and git is not on PATH, so the daemon-side probe always returned None and `min session list --json` reported `"git": null` for every session. Move the probe to minimal-client (shared by min and min-tui) and fill each ListSessions entry's git field host-side after the reply. The daemon now returns git: None; the wire types are unchanged.
