Replaces the loadout gif with the demo the first screen was missing: three sessions of this repository on three branches (main, feat/api, fix/ci), listed by min dash with a branch per row, in the same place the loadout gif sat (after "What is Minimal?"). Getting Started gains a "See every session in min dash" step with the two commands that reach it. Nothing in frame implies a worktree, a remote host, or another machine.

  • docs/public/dash-demo.gif (29 KB, 120x22, agg). Recorded on Ubuntu 25.10 with the native daemon (min 0.5.4). On macOS the dash shows no branch column because the daemon's git probe runs inside the VM; tracked separately.
  • The loadout gif and cast stay in the tree; the installer animation and spec 07 reference the cast.

Adds scripts/record-dash-demo.sh: three plain clones of this repository on
three branches, one session each, `min session list`, then `min dash`
under a pty driver (scripts/record-dash-pty.py answers the cursor-position
query crossterm sends and sizes the pty), captured with asciinema and
rendered with agg to docs/public/dash-demo.gif. Sessions are destroyed on
exit. No worktrees. The gif itself lands once the recording is made on a
Linux native daemon, where the dash shows a branch per row.

The 1280x640 SVG uploaded as the repository social preview: the mark, the
wordmark, and the README first line. Render with
`rsvg-convert -w 1280 -h 640 docs/public/social-preview.svg -o social-preview.png`.

Ubuntu ships the Python asciinema 2.x, whose geometry flags are
--cols/--rows and whose output is already asciicast-v2; Homebrew ships
3.x. Pick the flag set from the reported version.

The 32 % session pane at 90 columns truncated demo-<branch> names next
to their branch, and the min session list frame wrapped. Name sessions
by branch slug, record at 120x22, show only the dash, and add RENDER=0
for hosts without fonts so the cast can be rendered elsewhere.

Only main is short on origin, and the 32 % session pane truncates a
long name beside its branch. Take SESSIONS as name=branch pairs; a
branch missing on origin is created from main inside that clone, so
every row still shows a real branch and origin is untouched.

A clean q restores the main screen, so the gif ended on a blank frame.
Terminate the dash while it is still drawing by default; DASH_EXIT=quit
keeps the old behaviour.

The right pane read "no session selected"; a Down key after a second
selects the first row. The cast now starts at the first paint and the
last frame holds for four seconds so the loop rests on the dash.

Sent before raw mode, the Down key echoed as ^[[B into the recording.
Wait for the alternate-screen switch, then select.

The demo asset the first screen was missing: three sessions of this
repository on three branches, listed by min dash with a branch per row,
recorded on a Linux native daemon with scripts/record-dash-demo.sh. The
cast is kept beside the gif so it can be re-rendered.

The recording scripts and the social-card source leave this PR; the
gif and its cast are the deliverable.

One preview on the first screen: the sessions + dash gif above the
heading. The loadout gif leaves the README (its cast stays in the tree;
the installer animation and spec 07 reference it). The dash cast is
not shipped.

… commands

The gif follows the "What is Minimal?" section, where the previous
preview lived, and a two-command block says how to get to that dash.

The gif keeps its place after "What is Minimal?"; the two commands to
reach that dash move under Getting Started as their own step.
