Summary

  • return only Google models that explicitly support generateContent
  • share conservative OpenAI-compatible model filtering across Chat Completions and Responses
  • honor explicit capability, endpoint, and output-modality metadata when available
  • exclude known embedding, speech, image, video, moderation, realtime, legacy Completions, and Responses-only model families
  • document the model discovery behavior and add provider/schema regression coverage
