Add WithNoInlineData option to disable tail-packing Linux only supports DAX (-o dax) on flat-plain EROFS files, so small files that are tail-packed into metadata blocks (flat-inline) fall back to the page cache. Add WithNoInlineData() (matching mkfs.erofs -E noinline_data) to disable tail-packing and keep all regular files block-aligned. Signed-off-by: Ajay Sundar Karuppasamy <ajaysundar@google.com>
Add data range interface to give access underlying data Access to underlying data may have multiple uses, from directly acessing file data from a backing store, detecting sparse areas in a reader, and efficiently building with metadata only. Signed-off-by: Derek McGowan <derek@mcg.dev>
Fix mkfs.erofs uid/gid truncation on Windows MinGW's struct stat uses signed 16-bit uid_t/gid_t which truncates values >= 32768 when parsing tar headers. Store full-width u32 values alongside struct stat and override after inode creation on Windows. Signed-off-by: Craig Gumbley (Agent) <craiggumbley+agent@gmail.com>
Rename EroFS to Open and Opt to OpenOpt Rename the primary API entry point from EroFS() to Open() for a cleaner, more idiomatic Go API. Rename Opt to OpenOpt to distinguish reader options from the upcoming Create() writer options. The old names are preserved as deprecated type aliases and wrapper functions for backwards compatibility, to be removed in 0.3.
