About me

πŸ‘‹ I'm Dominic, an AI engineer and software developer building applications powered by machine learning.

πŸ— I have 5+ years of experience building reliable, high-performance web and mobile applications with Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, PostgreSQL, and automated testing.

πŸ€– I recently joined the data science team at my current job, where I consult on projects that connect data, models, and production software. I use AI agents throughout my development workflow and apply object-oriented design and test-driven development to build maintainable products.

πŸŽ“ I completed Le Wagon's 2026 Data Science & AI bootcamp in Tokyo. My capstone team built an app that personalizes book lists through semantic search and reading difficulty levels. I am continuing to improve it alongside freelance work involving AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evals.

πŸ“š I write about machine learning, software design, and test-driven design on my blog and project site. My projects include work in edtech and fintech.

πŸ’¬ Ask me about building reliable AI applications, Ruby on Rails, career transitions, bootcamps, and logistics.
