Этап 4 стратегического плана — TUI + coverage gate.

Изменения:

  • tests/test_tui_deep.py: глубокие тесты MaximizerApp через Textual run_test() (compose, ввод пакетов, нажатие Run, solver-integration). tui/app.py покрытие 22% -> 89%.
  • package_maximizer/tui/app.py: ИСПРАВЛЕН баг — Log виджет имел id 'log', конфликтующий с Container(id='log'); query_one('#log', Log) падал с WrongType при нажатии Run.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes

    • Improved reliability of the terminal interface when displaying logs and processing actions.
    • Empty package input no longer causes the interface to fail.
  • Tests

    • Expanded automated coverage for terminal-interface workflows, including package solving, solver selection, button behavior, and result display.
    • Continuous integration now enforces a minimum 85% test coverage threshold.

Walkthrough

The TUI log widget now uses the log_output ID. New headless tests cover widget composition and button behavior. CI installs the TUI extra and enforces 85% test coverage.

Changes

TUI validation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Align TUI log widget identifier
package_maximizer/tui/app.py
The log widget uses log_output, and the button handler queries the same ID.
Exercise TUI behavior in headless tests
tests/test_tui_deep.py, .github/workflows/ci.yml
Headless tests cover widget presence, run actions, solver paths, empty input, ignored buttons, and run_tui callability. CI installs the TUI extra and requires 85% coverage.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to 29e4f

The PR fixes the TUI logging selector and enables broader CI coverage enforcement. It is mergeable with explicit owner follow-up to strengthen a few tests so they verify the displayed result, selected solver, and ignored button behavior rather than only exercising code paths superficially.

Poem

A rabbit taps Run with a soft little hop
The TUI shows widgets from bottom to top
Logs find their ID, and tests bloom bright
Z3 joins the journey through headless night
CI counts coverage, neat and tight

📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Make these tests exercise and observe the behavior they claim.

  • test_button_run_empty_packages only checks that the result is a string. It does not verify "No packages provided." in #log_output.
  • test_button_run_with_solver_z3 does not prove that "z3" reaches PackageMaximizer; always using "greedy" could still pass.
  • test_non_run_button_ignored never dispatches a non-run button event, so the guard at Line 56 in package_maximizer/tui/app.py remains untested.

Expose the log output, assert the selected solver, and dispatch a non-run event before relying on these coverage claims.

Also applies to: 71-74, 77-85
