Hello pretty people 🍂

📌 I'm Pavana P Karanth, a sophmore pursuing Computer Science Egineering (Major) and Psychology (Minor) 💅🏽.

📌 I like cats, books and coding (Lovely, I know 🐥)

📌 My interests in Tech currently included Artificial Intelligence, Machiene Learning, and a bit of web development. I'm more into how we can use ML for cognitive and behavioural psychology :D

📌 I'm actively seeking internships and research opportunities in this area 🔬📒.

Some slay things I've done:

  • SUREP Research Mentee, University of Georgia:
    "Assessment of dimensions of Psychosocial impact of mental health apps with AI integrated analysis in South and Southeast Asian adolescents and young adults"- poster presented at the SUREP Conference, University of Georgia 📚

  • Research Mentee, The Research Catalysts:
    Published & Poster presentation on "Application of AI to dementia" under the guidance of Mr. Prince Tufon, MIT 📖

  • STEMAspire Scholar Mentee, Dell Technologies:
    Participating in mentorship and training programs focused on STEM careers, to understand the industry 🪻

  • Section Leader, Stanford: Code in Place:
    Guiding multiple teams of students selected for the program and teaching them the fundamentals of programming 🖋

  • State Level Winner, NCSC & ISC
    Presented Science Project on Alkaline water at National level in Indian Science Congress (held at LPU) & at 26th NCSC (held at Odisha) 📃

  • Amazon (AWS) Scholarship 2023 Recipient
    Selected for a 6-month nano degree program- "AI Programming with Python" offered by Amazon. Built 2 projects where one was an image classification model and the other was canine breed classification model 👩🏻‍💻 :)

Born to be a couch potato but forced to be a girlboss I guess 🤷🏻‍♀🫶🏼.
