Adds a Python version of this MCP server in python/, matching the Node one: same tools (served from the bundled tools.json), same APIFY_TOKEN/APIFY_ACTORS/APIFY_MCP_URL env vars, same hosted endpoint (https://mcp.apify.com). Built on the official mcp Python SDK.

  • Console script etsy-sales-mcp; install with uvx --from git+https://github.com/GeminiGeorge22/etsy-sales-mcp#subdirectory=python etsy-sales-mcp or pip install "git+https://github.com/GeminiGeorge22/etsy-sales-mcp#subdirectory=python".
  • Tests ported: test-env guard (fails if APIFY_TOKEN is set), local tools/list without a token, no remote connection without a token, forwarding to a mock remote, stdio smoke test.
  • Python port of the input-schema drift check (python/scripts/build_tools.py --check), run in CI against the live public schema and self-tested red on the mismatch fixture; also added to the scheduled drift workflow.
  • pypi-publish.yml: PyPI Trusted Publishing on python-v* tags (environment pypi, id-token: write). No tags pushed.
  • README: short "Python (uvx/pip)" section next to the npx one.
  • Refreshes tools.json for publicrecords/etsy-search-scraper (description/title change in the live public input schema), so the live drift check is green again.
