Primary Capital Increase Placement for DEUTZ AG  ⬇️ A strong start to the post-summer period for the ODDO BHF Equity Alliance, with our ECM partner Commerzbank AG. We are delighted to have once again supported DEUTZ AG on the successful placement of its €179 million capital increase, with Commerzbank acting as Joint Global Coordinator alongside ODDO BHF. This transaction marks the third accelerated bookbuilding capital increase we have successfully placed for DEUTZ since 2024, highlighting the strength of our long-standing partnership and execution capabilities. Die Zukunft der Altersvorsorge neu denken - Life Insurance Innovation Circle 2026 ⬇️   Gemeinsam mit namenhaften Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der Versicherungs- und Investmentbranche haben wir beim diesjährigen Life Insurance Innovation Circle in Frankfurt aktuelle Entwicklungen und die Zukunft der Altersvorsorge diskutiert.   Im Fokus standen die politischen und regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen, internationale Marktvergleiche sowie innovative Lösungsansätze für die Altersvorsorge in Deutschland. It's also about ownership. ⬇️ Last week, Garance Pineau, Head of International Affairs & Investment Banking Advisor at ODDO BHF, participated in the Riga Conference panel "Two Years from the Draghi Report: The State of EU's Competitiveness". Moderated by Rebecca Christie, Senior Fellow at Bruegel - Improving economic policy, the discussion brought together distinguished speakers including Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioner for Economy and Productivity at the European Commission, Peter Sarlin, Founder and Chair of NestAI & Qutwo, and Amb. Andrew Puzder, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union. As Europe navigates a rapidly changing geopolitical and economic landscape, the panel explored how the continent can strengthen its competitiveness, resilience and strategic autonomy. ODDO BHF Asset Management teams attended the IPEM Forum in Paris ⬇️ Last week, several ODDO BHF business lines participated in the IPEM Forum, an event that brings together industry leaders and investors from the private assets world. Our expert Jérôme Marie spoke at the round table discussion entitled "Liquidity, but who pays the price? A candid take on three tools in the toolkit". We are pleased to share the key insights from his discussion: ➡️ LPs have experienced a long cold winter over the last 4 years. Muted distributions have forced them to engage with liquidity solutions in a much more pragmatic way. ➡️ The recent boom may be cyclical, but the broader acceptance of liquidity solutions is structural. ➡️ Even if M&A and IPO markets fully reopen, the genie doesn't go back into the bottle. As a reminder, this strategy presents risks, including the risk of capital loss.
