Gemstone fell out within 2 weeks
I bought a ring from Eternate as a gift for my partner. It arrived fine, but within 1-2 weeks of normal wear, the gemstone fell out of its setting - clearly a manufacturing defect, not damage from use.
I emailed customer service on 19 August with photos, referencing their lifetime manufacturer's warranty, and asked for a repair or replacement. I sent a follow-up when I heard nothing. As of writing this, I've had **no response to either email** - over two weeks of silence on what should be a straightforward warranty claim.
The ring itself photographs beautifully, but a setting that fails this quickly is a real quality concern, and the complete lack of customer service response is worse. I'm now pursuing a chargeback through my bank since Eternate hasn't engaged.
If you're considering buying from Eternate, be aware of this experience before you do.

Borderline Scam
My fiance proposed to me with a beautiful ring from eternate but we needed to exchange for a smaller size. We have successfully sent the ring back with a shipping label they provided. However, since then it has been a hassle to get a response from customer service regarding our exchange being sent. So now we have no ring, no response, but an expensive recipient with nothing to prove we have entered the next phase of our relationship. This is a borderline scam. If your business is tailored to such a monumental part in people’s lives, your customer service should reflect that as well. Not sure what we should do next. Even the phone calls go straight to voicemail. Ridiculous.

Impossible to return/refund item
I am having a nightmare dealing with this company! I have been repeatedly trying to return a totally unworn ring that I purchased at the end of July but customers services will not engage or reply to emails. The website suggests a very easy returns process - it is not!! I logged my return on their website as indicated , after the initial email from customer services asking if I’d like an exchange to which I replied no, they either won’t reply to countless emails I have sent, or I get a response which looks like it is AI generated saying they will send a returns shipping label but it never arrives. I now fear I will never get my money back? I have never written a review before but felt compelled after the incredibly stressful experience I have encountered. Beware !

Scheitert am Kundenservice
Ich werde nicht noch einmal bei Eternate kaufen!
Ich bestellte einen Verlobungsring, dieser kam rechtzeitig an und sah optisch gut aus. Das waren auch die einzig guten Punkte.
Als der Ring noch in Herstellung war und ich aufgrund der Aufregung und Vorfreude einige Sachen abklären wollte, konnte ich niemanden erreichen. Auf mehrmalige Anrufe sowie E-Mail-Nachrichten wurde seitens des „Kundenservices“ nicht reagiert.
Als der Ring ankam stellte ich fest, dass das Zertifikat Fehler aufwies. Die Größe des Steins (ct) war falsch angegeben. Ich bestellte 2ct und auf dem Zertifikat steht 1ct. Weiterhin handelt es sich beim Stein um einen Radiant-Schliff, auf dem Zertifikat ist dies auch falsch angegeben.
Da E-Mails anscheinend ignoriert werden, schrieb ich Eternate auf Instagram. Da bekam ich nach 2 Tagen eine Nachricht. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, das Unternehmen schafft es nicht, mir trotz Beweise das richtige Zertifikat zukommen zu lassen. Stattdessen wird zusätzlicher Stress (Ring und Zertifikat zurücksenden, weitere Tage/Wochen auf den neuen Ring mit Zertifikat warten) erwartet. Danach hieß es, dass dies sinngemäß abgeklärt werden muss und ich am Montag, 24.08. eine Nachricht erhalten würde. Nun ja, wir haben mittlerweile den 28. und meine Nachricht ist auf gelesen.
Aufgrund der gesamten Umstände und des wirklich schlechten Kundenservices gibt es von mir zwei Sterne. Wobei ein Stern definitiv auch gerechtfertigt wäre.

Customer service is dire. Don’t risk your money
Ordered an initial ring on 21st July, a gift for my girlfriend. When ring arrived it was wrong size and wrong initial. I received the ring on 31st July and promptly contacted customer service for exchange.
After numerous follow up emails I finally was sent a returns form, which was dispatched on Wednesday 19th August . I have been tracking via UPS and since Thursday 20th at 10.54am it’s been sat in a processing facility in Istanbul. I fear I’m never going to see a replacement and definitely not be refunded .

The website was easy and lots of choice. The preview of your own design was great.
The necklace was just as described and pictured. Really well made and good quality.
Only bit was the delivery date wasn’t clear. But it came quicker than expected so was happy, if buying as a present then order in advance just in case.
Overall really happy and would look to buy from them again.
