A farcical offer .............
I rang and spoke to a nice guy Alex a couple of days ago regarding a deal on a particular spec brand new factory order electric Macan 4S we wanted and possible cash back on our current stunning fully loaded year old 911 ....... He Emailed us a few hours later offering us a well used Macan without any discount and which was only a dew thousand less than a brand new Macan and a cash back price on our 911 which was around £13,000 less than other Porsche dealers ......... It was quite farcical and i wont be calling them again !! PS can all of their 5 star reviews on this site be genuine ?? MY RESPONSE 17/7/2026 TO PORSCHE NEWCASTLES REPLY ....... So what you are saying is that numerous other more experienced Porsche dealers including other sister JCT dealerships have made huge errors in their valuation of our 911 with similar lower spec cars than our 911 with very vastly higher mileages averaging around £25,000 more on Autotrader than you offered for our 20 mile car ? ....... and why did you not offer the new factory Macan which was the crux of our enquiry ? ........ Crazy !

After receiving your comments, we reviewed the valuation again to ensure no errors had been made, and we're confident the figure we provided was accurate based on the current market.
We completely understand that our valuation wasn't what you had hoped for. However, with the manufacturer support and offers currently available, we are able to supply a brand-new Porsche 911 to the same specification as your vehicle for less than the value suggested, before on-the-road costs. As a result, it wouldn't be commercially viable for us to value a used vehicle above the price at which an equivalent new car can be purchased.
We appreciate that every customer wants to achieve the best possible value for their car, and we genuinely wish you all the best with whichever option you decide to pursue. Thank you again for your feedback.

The service provided to me by Porsche Newcastle and by senior customer advisor Louis Do has been truly exceptional. The communication with Louis from day one was flawless. The attention to detail in the execution of the car purchase was excellent throughout. Louis kept me updated on the progress of the delivery of my car, and kept in touch after delivery to ensure a smooth and thorough handover. The vehicle itself has been meticulously prepared and the handover of vehicle and documents was perfect. I highly recommend Porsche Centre Newcastle. Very bad customer service.
Contacted them on Friday 3 rd of April, enquired about a vehicle that they had for sale . Sent them pictures the next day as requested of my car for a part exchange never heard anything back from them . Three days later I contacted them and asked if they had received the pictures of my car and asked if they could get back to me with a price and finance terms, spoke to the sales representative that I had originally contacted on the Friday .
Said that he was going into a meeting and that he would get back to me . An hour later I get a text saying that the vehicle was sold.
Shocking customer service.

I appreciate how frustrating this must have been, especially after you had taken the time to send over details of your part exchange and were still interested in purchasing the vehicle with or without a trade-in. While this does not lessen your disappointment, I would like to explain that our vehicles are marketed in a live digital marketplace and, as a result, can be purchased at any time. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to hold cars without an agreed commitment in place, as availability can change very quickly. That said, we should always keep customers updated clearly and promptly, and I am sorry that on this occasion you felt this did not happen in the way it should have. Your comments are important and will be taken on board as part of our review of the communication around this enquiry.
Great Service
Simon and the team have provided a strong and friendly personable service during the process of taking delivery of our car. Delivery timelines were adjusted and Simon spent much time explaining the reasoning for this. Honest, approachable and a credit to the Porsche family.

Great Experience
Popped in to Porsche Newcastle hoping they would help sort out remote access issues a little beyond me. They couldn't have been more helpful, Fraser was helpful and more than patient, there was no need for an appointment, he was happy to sit with me and go through things to get me started and the app connected. Although a small issue Fraser gave it his full attention. All sorted and resolved now. I will be able to happily warm my car on these cold winter mornings!

Porsche Masterclass
I had a Masterclass to help with setting up a new 992.2 I bought from Porsche Newcastle. The tutor was very knowledgeable and confident, answering all my questions quickly and showing me how to set it up with the features I wanted. I came away with a much better understanding of the various computer-based driving systems and I know that I can always ask more questions as I explore the car in more depth. I'd recommend leaving the Masterclass for 3 or 4 weeks after taking delivery so that you have a list of questions to ask and don't be afraid to take an old-fashioned pen-and-paper list to work from!
