Claire Small at Lloyds Bank, Farnborough – exceptional service

I want to say an enormous thank you to Claire Small at the Lloyds Bank Farnborough branch.

Following my husband’s death, there was still some paperwork that I had been trying to sort out for almost a year. I had been into branch several times, been told to telephone various departments, and then when I telephoned, been told that I needed to go back into branch. It had become incredibly frustrating and, given the circumstances, quite upsetting.

Then I met Claire.

I went into the Farnborough branch without realising that it was quite close to closing time. Claire could not have been kinder or more helpful. She took the time to understand exactly what needed to be done and genuinely bent over backwards to help me.

The branch actually closed while we were still dealing with everything. I offered to leave and come back another day, but Claire wouldn't hear of it. She spent around an hour with me, never rushed me, and was patient, kind and reassuring throughout.

As far as I am aware, Claire has now managed to sort out in one visit what I had been unable to resolve for the best part of a year.

At a time when kindness and patience really matter, Claire Small at the Farnborough branch was an absolute delight and a credit to Lloyds Bank. I very much hope Lloyds makes sure that her exceptional customer service is recognised, because she thoroughly deserves it.

It is only fair to give credit where it is due. I use courier services regularly, so I am always pleased when things work exactly as they should. My parcel arrived on time and in perfect condition, and the delivery driver was both polite and helpful. In short, exactly the level of service one hopes for from a courier company, and which so often proves elusive.

I initially had a small problem with the website, but on contacting the company I was able to speak to a real person—refreshingly helpful and thoroughly delightful—who resolved the matter immediately. My order arrived the next day, and they were also the most competitively priced supplier of bird food I could find. All in all, an excellent experience; it is reassuring to encounter a company that still understands the value of good service.

So easy to use the card and to top it up. Accepted in many locations and a real money saver, what's not 2love!

I did an order which I was told would be delivered in two parcels, the first one arrived and then, two days later, I got an email to say the second parcel had been cancelled and I’d get a refund; there was no explanation as to why and when I went back to the website I was able to order everything that was cancelled, so obviously still in stock. Not the end of the world, but annoying.

What’s not to love about Love2shop?! Easy to use, app is very simple and straightforward. Save money when you shop. I recommend to everyone.
