THE CONTEMPT VODAFONE HAVE FOR CUSTOMERS!
I have been with Vodafone since 2020. Everything went well for the first two years. Then they refused to give me a new contract citing Full Fibre Broadband as starting in less than two years. This did not happen! I started paying £28, this has risen sharply and now stands at £48.36. The Broadband speed has REDUCED during this period. In the last month on 4 days the Broadband has gone off! A few weeks ago I got an e-mail to say Vodafone were upgrading me to full fibre. I DID NOT ORDER THIS! I have managed to cancel it. They sent something in the mail - I refused delivery! I am an ill pensioner, unhelpful, arrogant, money-grabbing companies like Vodafone holding me in utter contempt make me VERY angry. AVOID VODAFONE. ZERO STARS.

Special shout out to Connor at the Morpeth store. Amazing customer service he is a credit to the company, I had to return the next day with ID ( my own fault) and new deal was fully set up and completed all within 10 minutes.

4 Days Live Service And Already WITHOUT Internet
Fibre Service Installed 02/09/2026 goes down 06-09-2026 and guess what 2 days for an engineer to visit!
Terrible service give you a dongle that you can pair to a computer but no good when you have no phone signal and trying to run a business

Bought the 5g broadband a month in…
Bought the 5g broadband a month in advance of moving into my new place because I really needed wifi the first day I arrived (working from home). Had an issue setting it up in the new place, phoned the customer help number and was stuck on the phone for over half an hour where the guy on the phone eventually concluded that he couldn't help and that my only choice was going to my nearest in person branch to get a new sim for the 5g hub. Asked about getting compensation and he said that he couldn't do it for me right now on the phone but that the people in the store could get it for me.
Went to the store the next day, was told that I needed to bring a physical bank card for an ID check? Had to go all the way back and return with my bank card, then finally got the new sim. Got on the phone again to try and fix the problem, ended up staying on the phone for 56 minutes before it was finally sorted.
Absolute waste of time, spent most my weekend sorting out wifi when it should've been ready for the day I moved in. Had to cancel meetings and was offered £50 compensation which was "the most we can offer". Was informed that loss of business did not qualify for more. Ridiculous.
Would never recommend Vodafone: terrible customer service, first person I called refused to try for compensation and was just trying to end the call.
Thanks to the team instore who were more understanding and tried their best: would've been a 1 star review without them.

Don't use vodafone
I hate vodafone with every essence of my body. I hate it so much I'd rather use starlink WiFi regardless of the fee. Its fast but not reliable. Even tho we pay fro the WiFi, connection just... vanishing is surprisingly common. Its so infuriating I swear sometimes I want to throw my router at the wall. I'd much rather use fake McDonald's wifi set up by hackers to bait you into using it and getting hacked than keep using vodafone. I much rather use mobile data for the rest of my life.
