Can’t believe there are no monthly fees, it’s an absolute god send. The device goes onto our dogs collar really simply, the app is wonderful and super easy to setup and use. It gives live gps tracking which is accurate. The dog tracker is waterproof so no issues when our dog goes for a swim, it’s tough and hard wearing, but also really light so it doesn’t annoy our dog.
To charge it, you get a wireless charging pad which is a brill idea, just so simple to charge and so far, it’s charge has lasted. I particularly like that you can track your dogs whereabouts which is incredibly accurate and it provides so much detail within the app on your phone including steps!! If you want to keep a close eye on your dog then I suggest this is the device to get.

Great device - no subscription required which is a massive plus point.
Tracks and logs our pooch and has walk trackers etc like you have with your smart watch etc

All round great experience with the pitpat tracker .
Still testing out but Great up to now . No problems at all .
The only thing I would quibble is the number of steps to start and end a walk in the app ,and is it possible to integrate a smart watch with the app .I do have a watch lte capability and sometimes don't have the phone with me just the watch ????.
Also thinking of upgrading to the life plan which looks worth the subscription.

pit pat were great troubleshooting when I had a problem and responded to my questions quickly. In the end i needed a replacement which I have now received. I love the way it works so simply and wouldnt be without it

Very helpful went out of there way to help lost my pit pat traced the walks we had been on searched the house under furniture car could not find it ,
They were ever so kind and sent me another one ,we were so worried as it was for our rescue dag .
We felt so safe her having it on pease of mind it gave us.

A great well packaged product which is easy to use. The tracker comes with a smart charging pad with two different strap pads (short and long). My dog has a habit of chasing wild life in the garden and then disappearing into neighbouring properties. Since using the tracker. I have been able to pin point his location.

Over recent months (since my dog did a disappearing act in the woods) I've been researching GPS trackers and have always been put off by the ongoing subscription fees that most have. When I saw this was a one-off cost I decided to go for it. So far, very pleased with it. It seems to work well, nice and light and secure on her collar. It has had a dunk in a pond with her and been fine afterwards and the app is easy to use. I'm not getting quite the advertised battery life from it but that might be down to how I'm using it. Not really a big problem, just charging it slightly more often. I would recommend this to other dog owners.

Super fast delivery and easy to set up. It tracks easily and all the info is great to see on the app. It works brilliantly and it's well worth the money. I also have Tractive on another dog and I prefer this in many ways apart from the battery life. It is variable but lasts on average lasts a couple of days. Not an issue as such, but would be good if it could be turned off when not in use. Related to this is the charging of the device. Love the wireless charging but having to take it off the strap every time defeats the benefits of wireless charging. This brings me to the straps. Love the two sizes, but again having to remove them to charge is a niggle. Maybe something like a sleeve that attaches to the harness/collar that the device slips into. Again minor issue but as you have to charge every few days, it mounts up. Finally, communication is good, but it would be good to see the message in the app. The notification comes through but when you click to read you can't see it in the app. So a section that shows messages would be good to have.
Would I recommend, definitely and the bonus are the colour choices. I know it's silly, but matching to a harness/collar is important to some of us. After all , these are our fur babies and they are precious.

Ordered some replacement velcro strips for my dog's PitPat tracker. They arrived 48 hours later. Packed in an envelope with the order confirmation. Good service. Good product.

This is my second PitPat. Both my dogs have them. I love knowing how much exercise my dogs have. It’s amazing how different the puppy’s steps are!

This is a fantastic app that really excites us to see how many miles our exercise mad dog does in a day, he lo es the fields and rivers where we take him on most days, it gives such a worthwhile set of figures that we can show to the vet when we visit, he has had it on his collar for a few years now, and has ran across many miles of the UK and has loved every minute of it, we done Pit Pat you've done us proud with this gadget. When the first pitpat finally gave up after many years, there was a great ear at the end of the phone on customer service who gave us a 50 % discount, very helpful and thank you again

Really valuable conversation with a member of your staff helped me decide to buy. The Pit-Pat itself took a while to master....still learning but so far so good.

I bought this because my dog always takes advantage of an open gate. As yet I haven’t needed to use it to find my dog so have no experience of live tracking but the battery life is appalling hence only 2 stars. It needs charging every single night. I do not want to turn down the GPS settings to economy as it warns it could take several minutes to establish a connection if you do this. By then the dog could be miles away. I live in a rural area where only one mobile service provider works, so maybe that is the problem. If my dog was truly lost overnight the battery would be dead long before I located the precise area.
