The ease of the transaction

A great wy to recycle helpful text books that are no longer needed. Wonderful to know that someone else can gain and nice to get a bit of cash in the process.

App was easy to download and use. Scanning was simple. Once you had packed the items in a box sending them was very easy with the choices you were given. You are kept informed about the parcel from collection to delivery. They even inform you they are going through the parcel. The payments do not take long, neither, Once they confirm what they are paying you.
I prefer this way of selling books, CDs and DVDs and will continue to sell through World of Books - Sell Your Books.

Smooth transaction. Quick turn around.

This was about the third time I had sold to World of Books. Previously I had taken the box to my local Tescos to send off via Evri, however Tescos no longer offer this service so I was pleased to see a new option of taking to Royal Mail lockers, which is more convenient anyway, closer to home, no hill to climb (not everyone has a car). The lockers are easy to use although they never gave an email confirmation. Would use again.

Easy to scan and get an estimate of value. Disappointment in prices as very low. But the whole process is fast and easy. The postage and tracking also very good. Again it took a bit of time to get the books processed, I guess its due to physically and human checks.

Had trouble sending as shop could not print label and would not accept, and as evening could not get through to anyone for help.
When parcel eventually sent got less money as 2 books no longer wanted and told 1 missing, which I'm sure there wasn't.

I am still waiting the payment for the books I sent

I liked the new way to scan the ISBN number. It made it very easy. Your communication with the customer is great.

Don't sell your books to this company. They lied about what I sent them, claimed certain books weren't in the box, claimed other books were in damaged condition (that were actually NEW) and never responded to my inquiry as to why. They will probably respond to this review but, not to the actual customer.

We have sent about six emails and you failed to resolve the missing payment issue.
We have sent you all of our credentials as per requested, but you have failed to respond to our request, (two day ago) for you to provide your supporting evidence and documentation, which confirms when the payment was made from your finance department and the details as to where you claim it was sent to (our bank details) Yet after fourteen days since you say that the payment was made, there is no evidence to uphold it and you have clearly shown, that you cannot be bothered to respond back to our emails in a time manner.
***Action required: respond to our email, provide the requested payment proof and essentially pay the money to us, which was agreed at inception, which you are contractually obliged to do***

Fast processing

This site/company makes it easy to offload old books and textbooks collecting dust on a shelf. My kiddos had college books laying around that the school didn’t offer buy back for. I found this app on a google search and it’s been awesome! Just scan your books, get your quote, print your label and wait for your payment. Usually direct deposit in less than a week and customer service is quick to assist with any issues or questions.

Was extremely easy to do. Only downfall, but completely understandable, it takes time from sending books to receiving payment.

They said the expensive items weren’t there on 3 occasions. They paid next to nothing. You can not contact them. Scam
