I can't 100% confirm if its scam yet but steam support had to verify my identity to my account by buying and item here and trading it on steam. This happened in my steam client it sucks if this turned out to be a scam but lesson learned.

DMarket, a masterclass in technical incompetence

If you enjoy websites that defy basic logic and operate at the speed of a dial-up connection, DMarket is the perfect place for you.Their system insists that my Steam account is linked to another email address. Fascinatingly, when accessing the account via official Steam login, it clearly states absolutely no email is linked whatsoever. Apparently, DMarket's database knows more about my own security settings than Steam itself. Brilliant.To top it all off, navigating the site feels like wading through wet cement. It is remarkably clunky, beautifully unresponsive, and pairs perfectly with their broken account verification. If you have time to waste on a platform that feels like it was coded over a weekend as a high school project, by all means, give them your data. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and look literally anywhere else.

I recently exchanged some skins on DMarket and then tried to deposit money. I was asked to complete verification **again**, even though I had already completed the verification process a few months ago. My account still showed as verified on the website, which made the whole situation even more confusing.

Because of this, I wasn’t able to deposit money. On top of that, the value of my skins ended up being locked under **Trade Protection**, and even after the protection period ended, the money still wasn’t showing in my balance.

Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and felt completely unreliable. If your money or skins are involved, you expect the platform to handle things properly and transparently.

**My advice: avoid DMarket and stay away from this platform.** I personally wouldn’t trust it with my skins or money again. What a joke.
