Australian parents, please be very careful before giving Bhanzu your details.

I decided not to proceed with them around 4 months ago after looking into their group-class model, class quality and customer feedback. I clearly told them I was not interested, yet I received close to 100 calls in about 2 months.

Another concern is that it can be difficult to find a normal Google Business profile with independent Google reviews. Their website presents its own ratings and testimonials, but parents should not rely only on what is shown on a company’s own website. Please search more deeply and read independent feedback, especially around class quality, aggressive sales practices, communication and refund concerns reported by other customers.

Even after repeatedly asking them to stop calling, the calls continued, and today the conversation turned into an argument when I was firm.

My advice: do your own research before sharing your contact details or making any payment.

⚠️ Extremely disappointing experience — I would NOT recommend Bhanzu

I would not recommend Bhanzu to anyone based on my experience. Bhanzu operates worldwide and, after seeing many positive reviews, I decided to enrol my daughter. Unfortunately, what we experienced was completely different.

Bhanzu’s Maths programme has three modules: Star, Champion and Wizard. My daughter’s first module, Star, was not fully completed by her teacher, Mr Singh. I was told that the allocated hours had been completed, even though parts of the module were still unfinished according to the syllabus. I trusted what I was told and then paid for the second module, Champion.

That was my mistake — I should have checked whether the first module had actually been completed before paying for the next one.

Since paying for the second module, the situation has become extremely frustrating. When the second module started, no teacher was provided for approximately a month and a half, despite me having already paid the full amount. I kept waiting and when one teacher was assigned she did not know where the child has been left and which topic to continue

My daughter has now attended 8 classes with different teachers, and these classes have essentially been wasted because she has repeatedly been put into classes that are either far behind what she has already learned or ahead of her actual level.

She was first assigned to Miss Modi, who was teaching lessons my daughter had already completed. Then she was placed with another teacher Ms Arzoo whose class was ahead of her level. Now, for the third time, she has joined a class with Kirtika only to discover that it is once again at the wrong stage.

I spoke directly to Mr Deep the third person to solve the issue and was specifically told that the teacher being provided would be teaching percentages, which is exactly where my daughter needed to continue from module 1 which was not completed

What happened?

The teacher told my daughter that they are eight sessions behind and have not reached percentages yet.

How can a company providing a structured Maths programme have no reliable system to track where a child has reached?

When a teacher leaves, the new teacher should receive the child’s progress and continue from exactly the correct point. Instead, my daughter has been repeatedly moved between teachers and classes, losing valuable learning time and becoming confused about what she should actually be studying.

I have raised these issues with management repeatedly and have been given assurances, but the same problem keeps happening.

My child should not be paying the price for poor communication and poor coordination between teachers and management.

I have now completely lost confidence in the service. My daughter’s time has been wasted, my time has been wasted, and I have paid for a programme that has not been delivered as they committed.

I have therefore decided to withdraw my daughter and have requested a full refund repeatedly but they have not issued and keeps dragging it .

I genuinely hope Bhanzu takes this feedback seriously. The issue is not simply that a teacher changed — teachers can change. The issue is that there appears to be no effective handover or system to ensure the child continues from the correct point.

Parents are paying for their children to learn, not to repeatedly sit through lessons they have already completed or wait for classes to catch up.

Very disappointing experience. I would think very carefully before paying for the next module without independently checking exactly what has been completed and where your child will continue from.

The trainer is very nice, teaches very well n enganges whole session with fun n excitement

Bhanzu provides simple and great mathematical techniques, making it truly interesting for kids and encouraging them to learn and take an interest in mathematics. I am really happy after seeing improvement in my daughter's mathematical knowledge and tricks.

Teachers are giving attention those students they can speak English fluently.so I put complaint and I ask for refund that time the response is very bad and I didn't get any solution not at all.send emails and messages no use

I had a horrible experience with Bhanju, impressed with demo session and enrolled my son for mental math program.i was promised bi monthly payment of 240 but later they said it will be 240 per month.i kept calling Shubham but he never picked up calls or never responded to my emails following up with CS daily for refund request but no luck so far.scammers.someone pls inform founder of the company that they have hired scammers.stealing money

It is great, but we are lagging behind…!! We will surely catch up with that.

My daughter’s teacher is kind, helpful, and easy to understand. She explain things clearly and are always there to help my daughter. My daughter really enjoy her lessons and appreciate teacher’s support.

The maths classes are really good. Mdaughter really enjoys her sessions. The teachers are friendly and supportive .

The syllabus and teaching method is nice!!

The Bhanzu it’s good and my son happy to learn from Bhanzu and he enjoyed and he improved so much and Teacher also so good her teaching way it’s too good 😊

My teacher Tauseef Ahmed for math and Khushboo Patel for english is one of the helpful and best teachers i have met. They supported me when i didnt get good marks and guided me. Happy Yeachers day in Advance😃

⭐ 1-Star Review – Bhanzu

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bhanzu and feel that the money I spent was completely wasted.

During the demo class, they showed an impressive method where children could perform multiple calculations mentally using their “stair method.” Based on the demo, I had high expectations and decided to enroll my son.

However, after completing around 75 classes, I have seen almost no meaningful progress in his mental math skills.

My son is currently in 7th grade in California and is enrolled in an accelerated math program, where he is working ahead of his grade level and covering 7th and 8th grade mathematics. Despite this, Bhanzu placed him in a batch with much younger/younger-grade students, as shown in the attached picture. I don't understand how this grouping is appropriate for a student at his level.

Another major concern is the class size. Most of the time, there were around 4 students in a one-hour class. In practical terms, that means each student gets only about 15 minutes of individual attention, while we are paying a significant amount for the program.

For the amount of money they charge, I expected structured teaching, appropriate placement based on the child's level, and meaningful individual attention. Unfortunately, I did not see that.

In my opinion, parents would be much better off hiring a 1-on-1 math teacher from India, where you can often get personalized instruction at a fraction of the cost.

I honestly feel that Bhanzu is more focused on enrolling students and making money than providing personalized learning based on each child's actual academic level.

After 75 classes, I cannot justify the cost based on the progress my son has made. I would not recommend this program to other parents.
