PAM is a labour union in Finland that is supposed to protect worker’s rights.
Well: they do quite opposite. The only reason to join them is to get more money when unemployed.
If you have trouble at work: never ever rely on PAM: they will do everything possible against you.

I recently received an invitation from someone named "Andrea" who claimed to represent Galería de Arte Gaudí in Madrid, inviting me to participate in international art fairs. While the opportunity seemed promising at first, I noticed several red flags that made me question the legitimacy of the offer.

Incorrect Name: The message addressed me with a name that wasn’t mine, which suggests that the sender may not have actually reviewed my work.
Lack of Full Name and Position: The sender did not include their full name or specific job title at the gallery, which is unusual for professional correspondence.
Generic Language: The message seemed generic as if it could have been sent to multiple artists without personalization.
Given these inconsistencies, I chose to decline the offer. I would advise other artists to exercise caution and thoroughly verify the legitimacy of similar invitations before proceeding. If an invitation feels off or lacks specific details, it's worth taking a step back and asking more questions.

Stay vigilant, and make sure to protect your work and personal information.

Feedback on the accommodation:

The sofa was placed under the roof and was practically unapproachable; there were only a few meters where we could stand, and we had to crawl in between to access it.

The advertised kitchen does not exist; it has been converted into a room, and this change has not been updated in the information provided. As a result, we had to eat cold food in the room, straight from containers, using our own utensils.

The room was also very small, and so was the bed. We constantly had to maneuver around each other and be careful not to hit the ceiling while moving through the room.

The heated infinity pool was too cold, which resulted in us catching a cold.

The atmosphere was not peaceful: during swimming, there was a lot of noise, and we had to listen to two Italian guests loudly talking on the phone in the central room for about an hour. Our visit to the pier ended early because a local, intoxicated man was fishing there all evening and insisted on showing off his catch.

In the lounge area, where the pictures showed fruit on the windowsill, there was instead a large printer, and in the corner, there was a coffee maker and a kettle. This was misleadingly advertised. Additionally, we had to go back to our room and get water from the bathroom to make tea.

The sauna was closed in the morning, and we had to specifically request to have it opened (we were outside in the cold for 15 minutes in our bathrobes). The sauna was dirty and smelled bad, and the jacuzzi was empty.

At breakfast, the atmosphere was uncomfortable because the staff member was sitting in the breakfast area with a computer, doing office work. The space is small, with only three tables. While we were eating, the staff member took my plates away, touching me in the process, and started washing the dishes. Then, their work phone rang at the next table while they were washing dishes.

Considering all this, €180 per night feels unreasonable. Had I known the reality beforehand, I wouldn’t have chosen this place. The intention was to enjoy an evening in a stylish setting, but the experience was disappointing.

I had an extremely disturbing experience during my stay at B&B Daddanca in Zeppara, Sardinia, and I strongly urge others to avoid this place at all costs.

Key Issues:

1. Aggressive Behavior: The host, Luca, stole our wine, and when I confronted him about it, he became aggressively confrontational, getting in my face and yelling, “What is your problem?”
2. Inappropriate Conduct: Luca repeatedly touched guests without their consent, invaded personal space, and even walked around the premises in just shorts. His behavior was intrusive and made everyone deeply uncomfortable.
3. Disruptive Environment: The host was loud and disruptive at all hours, showing rooms to guests late at night and speaking loudly early in the morning. The constant noise made it nearly impossible to sleep.
4. Safety Concerns: The lock on my room’s door didn’t work, access to the toilet was difficult, and the house was often left unlocked, raising serious security concerns.
5. Drug Use: Luca openly smoked marijuana daily in front of guests, which was both inappropriate and illegal.
6. Tax Evasion: Despite providing the required tourist tax money to Luca, he did not pay it as he was supposed to. This raises concerns about the legitimacy of his business practices.
7. Discrimination: Luca treated Italian guests far better than non-Italians. He was notably more polite and attentive to them, while being disrespectful and dismissive toward others.
8. False Location Information: The B&B’s location as listed online was misleading. The property is in a tiny village with no services, contrary to what was advertised.

Conclusion:

My stay at B&B Daddanca was a complete nightmare. A month-long vacation turned into a traumatic experience due to the host’s behavior. Luca didn’t even say goodbye as I left. The distress from this experience affected me long after the trip, requiring medical attention and extensive dealings with Booking.com and local authorities.

Final Note: This was the worst experience I had during my entire time in Sardinia. I strongly advise against staying here—what was supposed to be a joyful vacation turned into a deeply distressing ordeal.

I booked an accomodation via booking.com
Midas Conglomerate was a third party responsible for check in instructions. Check in was supposed to be at 15:00. I got my check in instructions at 16:30.
When we arrived at the property at 20:00 - the keybox was empty.
I contacted Midas Conglomerate about the issue and was asked to wait a moment, which was 1 hour standing in the street.
We did not get the keys and were asked to cancel our booking, though it was not a refundable one. After being ignored. Money went.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant left a very unpleasant impression. I specifically flew from Finland to Sardinia to try the fish, and this was my first visit ever, which will likely be my last. I was served grilled fish that was so poorly prepared it was completely inedible, despite my love for fish. The dish was tasteless and unappetizing. Additionally, the bread was not fresh and was quite hard.

I informed the waiter about this, but he merely laughed and walked away. Even though I barely touched the dish and spit out all the pieces I tried, I was still asked to pay the full price.

If you plan to dine here, be aware that the restaurant does not care whether you like the dish or not – they will charge you regardless. When they ask if you enjoyed your meal, it is purely superficial – they genuinely do not care. The attitude towards customers is very poor. I left feeling very upset due to this disrespectful treatment. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone, although I initially intended to.

Jag skulle vilja skriva en recension om sellpy.fi. Jag gav 3 stjärnor. Vissa av mina skickade föremål som var nya - accepterades inte och gick till välgörenhet, hälften av mina saker låg “under granskning” i ett halvår och de sålda föremålen - såldes extremt billigt. Kahvila ja ravintolan Väylä käynnin palaute:

Kävimme äskettäin syömässä pizzan kahvilassa ja ravintolassa Väylä. Valitettavasti pizzan laatu oli pettymys, ja sen maksimihinta voisi mielestämme olla 13,90€. Lisämaksuna puolikkaasta pizzasta veloitettiin 2€, ja meiltä kysyttiin, haluammeko vettä. Olimme yllättyneitä siitä, että lasi vettä oli maksullinen ja maksoi 1,60€, eikä tästä ollut etukäteen tietoa. Vasta kassalla selvisi, että melko perusmakuinen pizza maksoi yhteensä 19,50€.

Pizzan hinta oli suhteessa sen laatuun pettymys, ja emme todennäköisesti toista virhettämme käymällä uudestaan. Toivoisimme, että asiakkaille mainittaisiin selvästi mahdollisista lisämaksuista ennen tilauksen tekemistä, eikä vasta maksuhetkellä. Onneksi pöytäpalvelumaksua ei lisätty, mikä olisi ollut vieläkin suurempi yllätys.

Aiemmin koin pettymyksen Toyota-merkkiliikkeessä, missä vastaanotossa istuu jopa seitsemän henkilöä, ja siellä veloitettiin 450 € pelkästä öljynvaihdosta. Amanda offers a free online course for artists as a scheduled recording starting every 15 minutes. I listened to 1,5 hours of this course and in the end, I was offered a stunning discount to enter a course only for 1997 sterling pounds. I would call it money washing and scam. When I left a comment saying that this free source ended up with over 2000€ offer is a scam for money collecting from naive artists - I was blocked by Amanda straight away. She contacted me after with the same offer. I asked her not to write me but she continued and I had to block her. Be careful not to fall for that. She has a very unprofessional approach and washes money from naive artists. I have proof of screenshots and messages.

Extremely Disappointed with Ploq.se

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Ploq.se that has left me extremely disappointed with their services and customer support.

I had previously encountered misleading ads promising discounts on coffee when purchasing a meal. After making a purchase and not receiving the promised discount, I decided to leave a review expressing my concerns. To my surprise, Ploq.se responded with an apology letter, promising to make a refund at a specific station.

The problem arose when I realized that the station was over 1000km away from my location. I reached out to Ploq.se, providing my bank credentials and contact information, expecting a fair and reasonable resolution. However, despite multiple attempts to contact them, I received no response.

This complete lack of communication and follow-through is not only disrespectful but also intolerable. It has shattered my trust in Ploq.se, and I can no longer consider using their services.

During my journey throughout Sweden, I relied on ShellPloq services, but I will now actively avoid Ploq.se due to their dishonest practices and disregard for customer concerns. I have photographic evidence and correspondence to support my claims.

It's essential for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold their promises, and unfortunately, Ploq.se failed in this regard.

If you are hosting: remember that you will not any support from airbnb.
My experience: guest was rude for one week (5 nights booking), walked in wet dirty outdoor shoes in the house, did not pay for an extra night, did not pay for bike rent, ignored all the messages and calls, broke the bike, stole the bike for one week from the closed position, left it covered with mud.
Airbnb support did not help with that during the period plus several days after simply ignoring me.

I contacted over 30 people in airbnb and got the same reply to my request for 80€ bike rent/repair/clean, towel covered in blood stains 10€:

"Thanks for taking the time to reach out. I'm going to forward your case to a member of our team who's in a better position to resolve this for you.

We understand that this may have caused some inconvenience to you Veera, so we're grateful for your patience."

We booked this penthouse to have a nice weekend and enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. We carefully selected a very nice stay among all possible stays in Swedish Lapland and Finnish Lapland region reading all reviews and doing a long research for a high-quality leisure stay.
Instead, we were forced to listen to around 9 hours of very loud unbearable rock through the whole evening. From 15:30-01 :00
90DB noise for 9 hours (harmful to health)
90 decibels is a high noise level, equivalent to the noise generated by a leaf blower or the sound level of a concert. Compared to 80 dB, 90 dB is 10 times more intense and twice as loud. Whenever you are exposed to this noise level, you should wear hearing protection.
One could hear music even in the sauna.
After two hours of nonstop noise and starting headaches, I contacted the host about a full refund I got an answer that there is a festival just outside the building. Here is what I got as a reply: ”Is the music coming from outside? There is Santa open-air music festival in the park by the riverside going thru the weekend.”
Since the host did not solve the problem I had to call San Francisco USA Airbnb support to solve the problem.
The next reply from the host was not an apology or problem-solving too. It was: ”This is a public outdoor event that has been promoted by the city of Rovaniemi. So it’s a well-known event, which attracts a lot of attention and visitors. We don’t ask our guests why they come to Rovaniemi. I can assume that many of our other guests come specifically because of this festival.”
”You cannot expect us to repost information about all public events in Rovaniemi.”
I would not have booked this stay if I would have known that there is very loud music in the whole apartment all night long non-stop. I do not know if anyone would.
Since the attitude towards guests is so ignoring - I do not recommend this host.
After getting in touch with Airbnb support I had a message from the host where the host offered a second night instead of an 82% refund (we would simply go home from that Airbnb, the apartment was untouched yet). I accepted the night to stop stressing.
After listening to many hours of loud terrible noise I had a bad headache and a bad sleep. I would love to go home and regret making a booking.
*it took us 1 hour to find parking outside before we checked in. We parked on the river shore.

Hospitality is non-professional. The host is interested in getting money, not in providing a nice and responsible service.

The guest tried to hold us responsible for the noise coming from public outdoor music festival in the city, which was happening during her stay. Before we even had a chance to explain , she made a request for a full money refund. As a gesture of good will, we offered the guest to stay one additional night free of charge, which settled the dispute. The Airbnb support team contacted us and agreed that this outdoor festival was outside of our control. This kind of behavior of the guest was inappropriate.
