SHORTSWORD
A downloadable Bookmark Game
SHORTSWORD is an even smaller version of the fictional TTRPG SWORD (as seen in the JUNGLE of the JADE JAGUAR) made to be played at the end of a session of reading a book.
Use your current page as an oracle to build a scene, goal, and hazards for your SWORD to encounter. Then have them camp in the margins of your page to rest.
Finish the game by finishing your book.
And at the end of each session of reading SAVE YOUR PAGE!

Question about Hazards: It says you need successes equal to the current page number to beat them, would that mean if I was on page 200 I'd need to roll 200 individual successes? Or am I misunderstanding it?
You are correct. While this game is fully functional- its a bit of a shit post, lol. It works best with shorter books. For longer books, you could easily replace it with a d12 roll if you want something more manageable (and actually fun).
