It was also a great moment to look back at what we have achieved so far and reflect on the journey we’ve been on. Her mangler jeg desværre et billede. I denne uge var jeg tilbage i Folketinget. Denne gang for at møde først , Rune Kristensen, der er både finans- og erhvervsordfører for Det konservative Folkeparti. Endelig har jeg også fået hilst på , Charlotte Green, der er sundhedsordfører for Det konservative Folkeparti. Vi har fået vendt en del forskellige emner, og kan bl.a. nævne: * Ønsket om automatisk alderskontrol, så det ikke er de butiksansatte, der skal vurdere kundernes alder. * Den lokale købmands betydning. * Indsatsen mod bøvl, byrder og bureaukrati. * Planlovens detailhandelsbestemmelser * Og meget mere! For decades, network design was largely a cost and inventory optimisation exercise, with service levels treated as a fixed constraint. Source from the lowest-cost location. Consolidate volumes. Maximise asset utilisation. Standardise flows. And for a long time, that worked. Today, it doesn't. Consumer demand shifts faster. Sourcing strategies evolve. Tariffs and regulations reshape trade flows. Geopolitical uncertainty has become a permanent feature of supply chain management. As a result, agility, resilience and flexibility have become standard topics in every supply chain discussion. 𝗬𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. The reality is that different parts of the network operate on very different clocks. Customer demand, fulfilment models and service expectations can change within weeks. Supplier capacity, sourcing decisions and partnerships may change within months. But logistics infrastructure, automation investments and distribution centres are decisions expected to create value for 10 to 15 years. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲. AI, robotics and automation will continue to reduce the traditional trade-off between flexibility and efficiency. But they do not change the fact that different parts of the network evolve at fundamentally different speeds. A highly automated warehouse remains a long-term capital investment. Customer demand can change overnight. Trade rules can change overnight. Treating every part of the network the same no longer works. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁.
