Efter 5 år på CBS går jeg nu all-in på vin! 🍷 I juni afsluttede jeg fem år på CBS med en bachelor i Business, Language & Culture og en kandidat i Business & Development Studies. Da jeg startede, var planen egentlig at arbejde i udlandet og bruge mit spanske professionelt. Men sideløbende med studiet kom vin til at fylde mere og mere. De seneste fem år har jeg arbejdet på Vinbaren Vesterbro Torv, blandt andet med indkøb, og hos Textur Vinimport, først som butiksassistent og senere B2B-vinkonsulent. Efter en del overvejelser om hvad der nu skulle ske, fik jeg muligheden for at gå fuldtid hos Textur, hvor jeg snart afslutter min første måned som B2B-vinkonsulent. Jeg har mere eller mindre været med fra starten af Textur og har set virksomheden vokse til i dag at være repræsenteret på mange af Københavns toprestauranter, inklusive flere af de steder, hvor jeg selv elsker at spise. Det er et privilegium at kunne arbejde professionelt med noget, man oprigtigt interesserer sig for. After 𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 in Denmark, my family and I are moving back to Belgium At this point, I have actually spent more of my professional life working in Denmark than in Belgium, and these years have shaped me enormously, both professionally and personally. When I moved to Denmark, I didn’t know 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽. Today, it is difficult to imagine my professional journey without it. To me, Implement is a talent factory: a place with an exceptional ability to attract talented people, help them grow and continuously learn from each other. I have had the chance to work with fantastic colleagues who challenged me, trusted me and taught me a huge amount about planning, business consulting, relationships and people. More on a few of them in the comments below. What has probably stayed with me the most is the culture. The ambitions and expectations are high, but people genuinely care for each other. There is always someone willing to help, challenge you or make time for you when it matters. One sentence from our CEO has particularly resonated with me: “𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵.” For me, that captures something essential. Expertise matters, but so does the experience we create for our clients. We should bring the right expertise and challenge clients when needed, while making sure they genuinely enjoy working with us. Denmark also changed the way I think about consulting: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝘆, bring expertise without assuming you already know the answer, understand the client deeply and balance a strong point of view with genuine curiosity. Personally, Denmark gave me just as much. It is where my wife and I built a large part of our life together, where our two daughters were born, and where we built friendships that will stay with us long after leaving Copenhagen. Leaving Denmark is not easy, but this move also marks the beginning of a new chapter with Implement. I am joining 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗ü𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗳 while being based in Belgium, remaining part of the Implement community and continuing to work with colleagues and clients across the organisation. Implement has the ambition to become a 𝘁𝗼𝗽-𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, and that international dimension resonates strongly with me. I have seen first-hand what Implement’s combination of expertise, transformation capabilities and human way of working can create, and I am looking forward to helping bring more of that beyond Denmark. Nine years in Denmark gave me a lot. Now it is time to take those learnings into the next chapter.
