Fintech continued to build momentum in H1 2026, following a strong 2025. Global fintech investment rose from $72.2 billion in H2 2025 to $103.1 billion in H1 2026, putting the market on track for a four-year investment high. In EMEA, fintech investment reached $11.3 billion across 626 deals, with Denmark making its mark with the largest deal in the region. According to our Partner in Financial Services, Mads G. Jæger, the market is entering a new phase: ”Fintech investment continues to gain momentum, but capital is increasingly flowing toward larger, more mature players with proven business models and clear paths to value creation. At the same time, AI remains a key investment theme, particularly in digital identity, cybersecurity, and regtech. What is changing now is that organizations are looking beyond efficiency gains and increasingly exploring how AI can create new revenue streams, strengthen customer value propositions, and support long-term growth. We are also seeing growing momentum in digital assets, payments infrastructure, and market consolidation as investors focus on scalable platforms and category leaders. How can leaders help their teams perform under pressure while staying resilient through change? That question was at the heart of last week’s Visionary Leadership Council People & Culture workshop, which we hosted at our offices. Morra Aarons-Mele, author of The Anxious Achiever and workplace expert, shared how anxiety can both limit and fuel performance, and why greater self-understanding is essential to leading others effectively. The session also opened up a broader conversation about how organizations can build resilience, prepare their people for accelerating change and bring them successfully through transformation. The takeaway was clear: as transformation accelerates, strong leadership and culture remain essential to bringing people with us through change.
